Unfortunately, the "idle loop" (i.e. what plays when nobody is actively feeding from elsewhere, which me or other people could do when there's a higher number of people listening) only takes OGGs. There are no particularly powerful pure command line Linux streamfeed clients to begin with.

I'll give making some levels of my own a shot once I'm through the original game... (done with world 4 now, and it's actually starting to become a bit challenging :o )

Well, my player isn't of the kind that could be themed in any way, being of the "flash memory stick with MP3 player function added on top of it" breed... unless you replace the firmware, I guess, but that would hardly be worth it.

Castle Dracula would have to be like 5 or 6 pixels tall to fit on the display.

The only one I am actively watching is House M.D., not counting running animes since I'm not really watching those on TV. The few other TV series I tried watching all turned out rather disappointing in no time.

Changed the difficulty rating of Ailure's level to 2/3 since there should be far more challenging levels than that later on. Since the scale is 1..5, I think 3 for the alternate path is appropriate enough; what might be worth consideration is lowering the main one to 1.

On another note, you don't open that stream with firefox (since the admin interface says somebody has been doing so for the last ~50 minutes) since it tends to just start it as an infinite download. Use foobar2k, winamp or any other streaming-capable media player.

Yeah, an exact match can't be achieved due to some incompatibilities in the general layout scheme (since board2 uses the same font class in some cases where the 1.x fork uses different ones); however, this should appear sufficiently close to maintain suspension of disbelief anyway.

I like this. A lot.

On a small note, I think it would look good if you introduced slightly differently coloured versions of the foreground blocks and alternated them.

M3U is not a music format at all, just a playlist... if I created one, it would just reference the OGG stream again. But, if you think it helps, here.

Eh, what I said not that you need to change the colours used, but that you could create a copy of the Map16 data for the FG blocks using a slightly altered, different palette and alternate between the first and second colour scheme for foregroudn blocks. That way, the blocks would have more diversity, thus making the whole level graphically more interesting.

Legomen: It still looks a bit bland... can you add more detail and diversify it more?

FirePhoenix0: It's good, except that you should make the alternate FG block colour closer to the other FG blocks, not the background.

Realizing that the 10-15 years you'll have to wait until it becomes emulatable don't really make a difference either really feels like a tuned down but perfectly authentic version of buddhistic enlightenment. There are many fish in the sea, or games on the net, and the moment you become one with the insight that they are no worse than those you stand in line for for hours and wind up spending an $99 on is one of greatest liberation.
