I would strongly recommend that you put up some screenshots that are actually representative of the levels and regular gameplay you have in the hack. While it seems to be 90% of their daily activity to some, not everyone has the nerves to load and look at youtube videos at all, and the few screenshots that you have there as well as that godawful box image really don't reflect remotely as well on your hack as would seemingly be deserved if you go by the responses from those who actually played it.

There are cases of (auto)immune disorders developing spontaneously at some point relatively late in life; I remember reading an article about a person who was suffering from severe neurodermitis for a few years and then noticed that completely omitting all dairy products from her diet ameliorated the condition completely. However, it is equally likely that you would just have started seeing a pattern where there is none, or even have developed a psychosomatic disorder that agrees with the pattern you expect - the digestive system in particular is known to be very susceptible to those.

It might be true that in general, dairy products are implicated in allergic reactions and digestive problems more often than many other foods - however, millions of people still consume them on a daily basis with no ill effects whatsoever and certain foods (e.g. nuts) where it would be much harder to make a case for them "being made for someone else" (them having been a staple in certain human populations for millennia) cause allergic reactions in a significantly larger number of people.

I pretty much always wear black pants of some kind and a t-shirt with a contrasting shirt on top of it, the contrast usually being the t-shirt being black or dark blue and the shirt being some fanciful kind of tartan check or at least brightly coloured (however, the reverse is currently true). Exceptions to the rule (black tie events, out of shirts, unbearable cold) do exist. In the case of utmost heat, I do resort to shorts.

It has occured in the past that I spent the larger part of the day at the computer in underpants and a plain shirt because I was not intending to leave my room anyway and the internet was being reasonably interesting. Nowadays, the internet isn't particularly interesting most of the time.

I drink copious amounts of (real) coke, but Earl Grey tea with milk and brown sugar is best when available. Chai is a close second.

I tried root beer before, but it tasted like detergent to me.

Not that I have a good track record as far as actually completing anything goes, but I tend to think about things that would seem technically impossible at first sight and how neat it would be to find a way to still make them work. If nothing else, the challenge is good motivation.

The uploader and the frontpage both would work, although the latter isn't really used by anyone anymore.

Added. Multiple deletion not possible at the moment, and there are some other potential issues with it... but at least it's completely reversible so meh.

Added Beethoven's Egmont Overture.

Any requests, awfully general or completely specific, for things to be added to the radio while I actually feel like doing something about it?

In the place of the makers of that hack, I just would have reduced my level of publicity a little, or perhaps gone back to promulgating it through a forum or IRC-based community of sorts as opposed to a flashy standalone site pining for high Google rankings. Lawyers seem, in practice, very seldom up for sifting through the former for things they can take action against.

Looking forward to seeing your demo - sorry if I missed something I ought to know, but what is it going to be a hack of?

"Feeling strong" after injecting horse blood just reminds me of that troll guy, whatever his name was again, from MSPA...

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."
Attributed to Benjamin Franklin, apparently. I was aware of it (in Russian translation) for years without knowing who it was by.

Right. I should have remembered.

Speaking of MSPA, now that it has been announced the next update will be End of Act 5, what do you think will happen?

I find it unlikely that the Scratch will not succeed - at this point, it seems more realistic to me that the trolls' Ancestors, and the kids' Guardians, themselves were a previous batch of players (of the former, something like that was heavily implied anyway, wasn't it?) that scratched their round and so the kids and remaining trolls are going to fill in a similar role after this scratch to a completely new set of players (as was implied by the thematic colouring of the chapter dots on the homestuck disc envelope). This would also explain the sender of mystery packages.

I suppose this could be considered some sort of FPS too, by a very long stretch...

That's pretty clichéd. Do your parents beat you when your choice of desktop backgrounds is culturally treacherous?

There is a level beyond which spiciness is just penance of sorts, but I found that I generally can keep up with people from ethnicities that traditionally have spicy cuisine as far as being comfortable with things goes. Indian food is probably my favourite single cluster, so gradual acclimatization by means of that might partially explain it.

clicky

Somewhat miscalibrated from not having written in a while, but it's not fundamentally off what it is like usually.

I can imagine several people back in krautland being excited. Counterstrike has always remained popular in Germany far past its best-before date.

On that matter, is the topic on purpose?

The mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters sorts of reminds me of those stereotypical ransom letters made from newspaper clippings.

Coincidence?
