Posted by Keitaro You = win. But seriously, the weather's been pretty freaky lately, even here in NYC. For example, after having a lot of rain, we go into full-on springtime, only to hit a day with huge amounts of humidity and allergies and whatnot (read: today). And yet, no rain. Perhaps by tonight... =\ |

When I was young, I was at church and I was running around... I slammed forehead first into a pillar. Needed some stitches for that.
More recently, I was running from a slight incline to flat ground, and the moment my feet hit the flat ground I tripped and landed teeth first. I lost half a tooth that day. Quite painful. |

I'm using Sappy, and it's working great for music imported from other games (including Mario Golf Advance Tour ), but of course, music imported from MIDIs using MID2GBA don't loop. I'd like to know if there's any way to get this sort of song to loop, either before or after importing through Sappy.
Thanks! |

Yay for migration! ^^

Actually, the N64 version has NES games. They just don't work in Project64 or Nineteen64... Also, the N64 version did require the player to manually set date and time on each play. Totakeke appears in that weird foggy screen and asks for it. Right now in the translation he tells you the clock is very fragile and that it isn't working.
I'd say the major differences from this to other versions of Doubutsu no Mori (Plus, Crossing, E+) would be: From DnM Plus: The addition of the Farway Museum, Animal Island, Able Sisters', and other town landmarks. Two villagers, Punchy and Cheri do not appear in the N64 version (they originated from DnM Plus), and other minor things (such as more NES games, the Aikotoba password system, etc...) From Animal Crossing (GCN): Most obviously the translation from Japanese to English. Also, a lot of e-Reader stuff, the shrine becoming a wishing well and whatnot. From DnM E+: The upgrade to Card e-Reader+ cards (E+ depends a lot on the Card e-Reader, unfortunately), the Objects Delivery System (where you could enter a password to obtain a piece of furniture that goes in your town), added villagers, islanders, and KK Songs, and many minor things. |

Heck yes, I want some.
But, does the "original 151" version include the attacks from at least up to Hoenn, or will it just have the attacks from Pound to Struggle? Also, when this comes along far enough (I'd suppose once you've got the core battle, overworlds, scripting, and graphic systems down, things are at least slightly easier from there... though that is a lot ), I'd definately look into bringing my rohmack over to OpenPoké. Which brings me to something else, will existing GBA tools be compatible with this? Not that I expect "right-now" compatibility, but at least, with the proper data offsets, would I be able to load an OpenPoké game in, say, AdvanceMap, or ScriptEd? |

With SNES/MD emulation, I don't use filters, but I mainly up the screen size to 2x or 3x.
With GBA emulation (in VBA), I up the screen size to 2x, and use Super 2xSai or something to that effect. Too lazy right now to confirm. With Nintendo 64 emulation, I either play in 320x240 with no filter, or in fullscreen with no filter. |

"CONGRATURATIONS! All Pages are displayed. THANK YOU! You are great debugger! [In debug error text. Note the Engrish.]"
Interestingly enough, I found this string in the Nintendo 64 version of Doubutsu no Mori, as well as the string "forest@srd038J.srd.nintendo.co.jp...01-02-14 16:37:16" (which seems to share a similarity to "creator:zelda@srd44")... |

I've been looking for an answer to this for a while now.
Maybe I should bug Zoinkity next time he posts over in the DnM translation thread on EmuTalk... |

* Supakitsune gives Xkeeper a Kit-Kat bar. Hardy har har.
In all seriousness, though, I hope you enjoy your break. I can see how one would need it, being an admin around here. (At least it's not the PokéCommunity, though... *shudder*) |

Posted by HyperHacker You'd probably end up with a ... catgirl plush, or doll, or something to that effect. Yeah. I'd trade it in for a "HydraPheetz Catgirl Generator" which has 99 shots and multiple settings (but "ban" hard-wired to "backfire"). Then I'd leave it in a corner of my room until it becomes... necessary. Mweh heh heh... Erm, I mean, yeah! Who wants some COOKIES? |

Ah, me? I'm Supakitsune. Erm, Aurakitsune. Eh... It doesn't really matter what you call me. I use both. (It's a little confusing sometimes...)
I arrived at Acmlm's... Hmm, I believe during the 2nd incarnation (Y'know, the one with an active Pokémon Hacking, before everyone went to the PokéCommunity for that). I never really posted much during the 2nd and 3rd incarnations, but now I've started posting at least marginally more. However, my policy tends to be "If the forum has a related IRC channel, go directly there and never visit the forums again". It... contradicts, to say the least. It's almost like there are two little people in my head, and the one that wants to post in the forums... well: That should explain it thoroughly. Now that I've made my introduction, I'll take my leave. Bye. |

The self-made one wins out. It's just... It doesn't look like a white box and an SNES Mouse.
Oh and question question QUESTION QUESTION QUESTION!!! Uhm... 1. Will the weather system be in OpenPoké? If it is, will you include the "snow" or "fog" weather along with their varied added effects? |
