Hi First post here, though I'm cross-posting this on Romhacking.net too.

I applied the Restoration hack on a US version of the game - the hack restores things like the guardian robot blurb when you select a stage (ie., "Champ of the Roads" for Turbo Man) and brings back the Roll/Auto random dialogues.

I wanted to change the intro text, boss names and their descriptions, but I'm having a really hard time finding these in the game. The intro itself shares the same font with Robot Master names:

I have spent the last few days with bsnes and Geiger's debugger, but I'm terrible at debugging and have made virtually no progress in figuring out how or where the pattern is. I've poked around hacks and translations of the game, and noticed it can be done... I'm just not sure how.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Using those 2 debuggers, what would be the best way to find these (as in, what would be the best course of action with the debuggers' tools, and how to read and apply the date they show)?

Would really appreciate some help ^^;
