IGN's guide is actually pretty right here. 45, you're going to use... A lot of items, as the champion's pokemon top out at twenty levels higher. It's not really likely you'll have a team that trounces them at that level. 55 is a bit higher than I went (actually it's the level I was at at the end), but makes vastly more sense.

Yeah. Save, Use eleven of each of the appropriate berries (this will kill all EVs), redo the calculation, and then load.

If you don't have eleven of the berries... Why? They grow pretty quick, with 5 generated from a successful planting.

Naive increases speed but lowers special defense so it rounds it out to defense or speed formation, I suggest defense since on the Japanese Battle Revolution on Youtube I saw a team of 4 speeds lose with the winner only losing I think 2 or 3 pokemon.

This man is insane and don't listen to him. Ghost attacks are very common in uber, and all the good ones are special. If you use defense, you will not fare very well. Go with attack.

Oh well I guess. I remember the last time this arguement went up it was like 20 against 2. Everyone seems to favor S&K though, or something.

Sonic CD has always been my favorite regardless of its simplicity. I mean there's Sonic, and that's it. That's all I want too. Knuckles is fine and dandy but why waste my time gliding and climbing walls when I just want to spin around shit and jump all over the place and keep up with the speed! Topped off with awesome levels, some weird past/future concept, had the most enjoyable Emerald stages out of the series, incredible OST's (both versions), with great anime cutscenes comparable to Sonic SatAM (not to mention this series ties in with Sonic CD in a few episodes), introduced Metal Sonic even before Sonic 2 ... I just loved it. Though I always hated how easy the final boss was.

On a related note I'll say that Sonic the Hedgehog is underated. Its always about Sonic 2, S&K, etc.

Green Hill Zone baby. And stage 6-3 is still by far the scariest level in any Sonic games.

Okay, but the levels in S3&K are just better. Sonic CD had its moments, but it was neither as good nor as big as S3&K. And of course, its bosses weren't as good. Well, I liked the Metal Sonic "fight", but S3&K had a better one...

And on your related note, no one talks about Sonic the Hedgehog because its level design and music were quite feh next to those in later games. It's like comparing Ninja Gaiden to Ninja Gaiden 2: I mean, it's not a bad game, but why would you play it when you could play other, better ones? If there's a Sonic game people don't rave about enough, it's Sonic 2 for GG/MS. That game is hardcore awesome.
