This MSU music hack is from the music artist: Krzysztof SÅ‚owikowski
I've worked on it with BSNES v.087, higan I am not too sure of as well with newer snes9x 1.55. https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=23063.0 It should work out if you look at the readme file. Do "NOT" have anything else running on your hdd/ssd while bsnes or higan or snes9x is using the pcm files. It'll make loading the pcm's much easier without tear and scratchyness. The PCM's are easy to grab read the readme file for the url link. With some people working on mega man related hacks most of of the time here. I thought I might bring some 16bit music magic to the table. Enjoy yourself I had a good time making this and play testing it during the past couple of months. I will be updating this during the next 2 weeks. Missing the 3 sounds tracks and need to replace something else. http://www.mediafire.com/file/w66clapjvt63u0c/Mega_Man_3_Sound_Track_MSU1.zip/file |

Posted by kuja killer He needs to use another emulator for screenshot capturing apparently. However looks like it came from MM1 in one of wilys stages, why is there a chain in the ceiling with a number 2 count ? |

Posted by Synthetekh 1. Please switch back the controls to default, the way you have it now is just horrible. 2. The big & small cell blocks in gemini mans stage, find a icy or navy blue color to make it nes like. 3. Ice mans stage is in the north pole, so his level should feel stormy and gloomy since its his area. The light sky blue should be toned down some but its your show so I'll leave it up to you. 4. Let the rush marine have a straight plasma shot like in the original. Changing it to a 3 shot is really pointless, it will slow up things like in mega man 5 for the gameboy. |

Posted by ZynkPosted by Alien-Type-0You can always change it in the Options on the fly. I know you are trying to be helpful, but that still doesn't do anything good. The way he set it up made jumping, shooting, sliding an absolute mess. Try his configuration against shadow man, needle man, quick man, doc robot, electric man. Evading quick hits, heavy hits, jumping over pitfalls is why it needs to be on default controls. Sega genesis AI of mega man games is quicker than the NES version. @Synthetekh: check and see if rushes plasma shots are seperate in the gfx file. By the way the regular power ups in mega man 2 and up, could you copy those graphics into mega man 1 ? For the longest time I have hated looking at them and it just looks absolutely boring. They should be the same size if not just pixel trim them and it'll fit. |

You must have tiny claws over there and yeah it still bothers me to game like that.
I have x= A a=B b=C on this controller shown below, A is what I use to jump I use b to shoot. So its like playing on the nes or FECUX its nimble and quick for rapid shooting. Bit offtopic but check this link and consider upgrading controllers I do 90% of my emulation and pc gaming on it. https://www.amazon.com/Controller-Gamepad-Windows-PlayStation-Android/dp/B072JJHBRN/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1534105592&sr=1-2&keywords=zd+t |

My thumb is on the A green button to jump when I need to shoot, I roll my thumb over and back to A
while running. Think of it as Mega Man X on the snes, its kind of like that, keep up the good work. I look forward to your next update, if you don't mind, give mega man in MM1 a little jump power. That game alone has been the only one that I have trouble with the most and haven't beat it yet. |

Posted by Synthetekh Just go ahead and do it if it falls in line with the other mega man games. You should let these guys know here what you're doing. I'm sure they get a kick out of it and provide more support to further your project. http://board.kafuka.org/forum.php?id=8 |

These look really good you have that weird flair like googie does when he hacks.
Are you basing you're drawings and rom hack to a particular tv series, comics, or a game ? The only thing that I see is tiny toons or one of the wb cartoon series back in the old days. I like to see some game footage to see what its like in action. |

Just a quick test to make sure the new power suit works after I grabbed the gravity suit item. There is action replay code that enables you to start with the new power suit. You can disable and renable both at will, as you can see here without the code it works. I am just wondering why the hell did NOJ R&D had to make it so damn hard to create. |

After watching this grow tremendously over the years, and there quite a few rom hackers, programmers, repositorys and documents for MM hacking.
I request that the administration team deliberate and decide if it would be a good idea for board 2. I understand if a new sub-forum is created, there would be a need for one or two local mods to over see that. I would recommend kuja killer, Zieldak or atleast googie to keep everything on track. This was talked about a long time ago, but nothing ever came to light. It would be a major step to get board 2 back on its feet and draw in newer mm rom hackers or regular rom hackers from elsewhere. http://acmlm.kafuka.org/board/thread.php?id=6020 |
