Found my place here on a quick ROM hacking search. So this is the original successor to the great Acmlm's Board, is it? Doesn't look very active anymore from what I can see, but hopefully that can change soon if a community re-evolves.

Hi, I'm new to ROM hacking, where should I start with SMB1 hacking? I'm planning on making a simple level edit hack to start with and would like to know where to begin.
It'd also be nice for anyone to assist about any other form of hacking the game, other than ASM, since I am yet to learn any form of programming language, let alone assembler! ^-^ Thanks for all your support! ____________________ yet another idiot rereg |

I was going to just leave you guys be, but given I've been accused of spamming (again) when actually, I haven't made a new account here in what, 3 months or so, I'm just going to clarify: that spammer is not me. And I don't care about this board anymore (I only lurk to read ancient history), do whatever you want with this account because I don't much care, only came back online to see why the hell I've been accused again. Otherwise I'd probably have made a new account with a dumb username again... Once this is read please just trash and attempt to nuke following accounts (at least the profiles) since I want no affiliation with this board anymore. Good idea, but shame no one with server access regularly posts or even checks anymore. You'd be better off suggesting this elsewhere or perhaps starting a new community about the scene, but only do that if you do have skill in hacking... ____________________ yet another idiot rereg |
