Mine's a triple boot: Windows XP Home, Ubuntu and Vista, but I almost always use XP since I can't network Linux and Vista just expired.

Well, wasn't the Macintosh XL more expensive?

On the subject of first computers, my grandma had an old machine running Windows 3.1. She also had Microsoft Entertainment Pack. Being a 6 year old at the time, I thought it was the greatest thing ever, but after using it all in a virtual console without my laptop breaking a sweat, it kind of loses its impact.

Guys, I'm pretty sure he wants the sound files, not your opinion of them

At any rate, it seems strange that it would crash the properties dialog, since it usually just says it can't find the sound. So you say you've got all the Vista sounds back? You could try putting other .wav files in the C:\Windows\Media folder and renaming them to the files you're missing, such as "Windows XP Error" for the Asterisk sound.

Big image! (Yes, this came straight out of my head - no editing. I worry myself sometimes...)

I'm not graduating, but band/orchestra has to play for graduation. You'll never guess what I play though (or maybe you will).

I got bored of Chip's Challenge actually. My grandma used to play Taipei and I played it a little too.

Drag: I think that's actually Windows 1.0. 2.0 is mostly blue, 1.0 is the ugly one

Well, This is Windows 1.0 and this is Windows 3.0. It definitely looks like the uglier one...wow, look at how awful Windows used to be!

Beh, KDE looks much cuter than XP's crappy Luna scheme or Vista's resource-hungry Aero scheme

But this isn't XP OR Vista, and it's not resource-hungry at all...but it IS crappy, I guess.

I didn't like that commercial at all. Hot juicy burgers don't logically follow from a bunch of people kicking trees and a red-pigtailed guy's train of thought. Although I would take it over one of those God-awful Glomobi ads on Comedy Central any day.

Even if you put tall grass in a town, there won't be any wild Pokemon unless you create wild Pokemon data. Advance Makes that pretty easy to do.

I like the route, but the town still seems a little bare. You could add more houses or make the existing ones bigger
