Just as a tidbit of info, there's already a Biohazard 1.5-ish Chinese pirate floating around on some ROM sites, for the Famicom too. It's incredibly buggy, though, and randomly crashes on me. But hey, it plays just like RE: Gaiden on the GameBoy Color :o |

VisualBoy Advance? Maybe it's not as "live" but still as helpful. |

The curtains seem a bit bland to me, but outside of that, it always looks good from you ^^ |

Fuck yeah they're not!
Great looking drapes. I didn't even know that phrase was utterable, but you make it so ^^ |

To be fair, he said nothing of editing how the sprite is composed, but only, the graphics to look of him (and something about Toad) :/ |

To add to Tabitha's little power, most people seem to want her banned from small maps, as she can easily destroy almost anything when within a proper unit. She begins to falter when placed under multiple fronts, though, for reasons stated above.
The Rain weather would almost be hell if it wasn't for flares. Or Penny, and her weather negation--she's not a bad pick for random Wi-Fi matches, as long as there's the random weather. |

That doesn't even begin to make sense. They both allow modification of four colors within a graphic--one program is a lot more user friendly than the other, but they both do the same exact thing to the same extent >.>;; |

If possible, you could have a puzzle level where a duplicate sprite of Mario is placed on the screen, and you need to use multiple Mario sprites to hit switches or as platforms to jump to higher places. They could be regular sprites or work off the same button inputs (or maybe mirrored?).

I saw them too, just didn't say anything ^^;;
I've always liked seeing your progress, frantik. This is one of those Super Mario Bros. hacks I look out after, simply because it's unique in one way or another. Literally, in the aspects that all of your screens seem to show "flowing" levels, rather than being comprised of preset tile arrangements. Makes it feel more like a later side-scroller than the old Mario. |

Capture the top and bottom areas, build one Fighter, and crank out enough bombers for a one-round assault, with a CO piloting a bomber for a hopeful one-hit blow to the gun. One way, at least. |

If it's going to have a darker tone, be sure to change the enemies--they're a tad bright in that screen cap :/ |

Maybe just choose a darker outline color for them? |

If looking into games, Darkwing Duck and The Little Mermaid might also be worth it (and welcomed) ^^;; |

The castle I think looks better with the new clean bricks, but that's only 'cause I think the moss was too bright. If there's room, maybe include another tile or two with a darker moss (like one of the shades for the grass itself) no bricks to place every now and then. I think both sand palettes are a tad bright as well, but the newer one is better. I think the problem is there's little to no contrast-it ends up pink-ish to me :[ |

Looks a lot better, in my opinion. One thing you could try to do to get the sand to look more like sand is make the bricks only one color, and the lighter tan like a layer or smudge of sand, rather than speckles. Or kinda go with the moss idea kinda path, in that some areas have built up sand or something like that. |

Those girls don't look any different. All there is is a basically pasted... bar, it almost looks like, at times, with the original face and body. |

The water seems a tad bright compared to the sky, but then again, that might be perfectly normal--personally I haven't the chance to see a large body of water during a rainy storm. The colors do seem to give a rainy feel. The only thing I suggest is add a lot more clouds, if possible. For some reason, I really, really like the little Link and his flame over on the right >.> |

Most of the pipes seem too "normal" (with the outer ledges around them_. Perhaps you could, if you've the room, add in a few more tiles which sorta integrate the ground in with the pipes. Then again, it really isn't all that bad a thing now that I think on it :/
I think I understand the pipe next to Samus, but it seems to jut out abnormally, as does the background cliff piece right next to it. But I really do like the color scheme. It looks a lot closer to our own Earth, or in other words, habitable. Maybe some rain would help even more. |

Posted by Dr. Hell The Armor Knight and Spier-thing (?) seem to blend into the backdrop a tad, but that's the problem with only four palettes It's something that can't be fully helped. But those 16x16 pillars seem blocky to me, since the shading isn't constant, and instead fades out. If you wanted to retain that style, perhaps add some thing row of bricks or something to make the column look as if its put together, rather than stacked on top of each other But as always, it's good looking as-is ^^ |
