I can deal with this, it has its nice style and the contrasts aren't too blinding :p Though I always had my skin set to random 'cause I like variety.

I got pretty much candy and some food. But that's fine with me, 'cause I don't need anything more ^^ And I got to spend the break with my brother, which is nice, 'cause his diseases is starting to beat him down pretty hard. And my nieces were here too--went exploring in the fields and found a cool little pocket forest complete with dangerous hills to throw yourself down

Just as a heads up, Berkeley's forms and their online stuff is out of date and not really user-friendly. Every other UC has at least a usable website, and most of them are actually nice to use. And Berkeley requested a lot more useless paperwork than the rest of the UCs too.

It didn't feel like they cared what the student though :e

Ah, I didn't know you had to do high-school by hand. I transferred into a UC (I'm at Davis ), and we did have to manually say our classes, but I'm guessing it was a teensy bit easier 'cause most UCs have the basic IGETC to compare classes from outside their school into their own. High-schoolers have a bit more 'splainin' to do :p

I'm going to introduce myself because I don't I ever have, for, like, the seven years or so I've been around. So my name is Celice. And I've been able to keep that name on, like, every internet-based thing ever made XD And when not, I just use CelicetheGreat. I have the cleanest username history in the world

I like to romhack for fun now and then and I love Fire Emblem. And the original Nintendo. And Chinese food. And potatoes. All this translates into a hello

I come here every couple weeks to see what sort of stuff people are working on. I used to come every day, but you know, no activity made it kinda less important :/

Has the weather or place he's been sleeping changed drastically at all? Some reactions stem from the obvious stress, but sometimes we might overlook what the cat considers stress.

I have never played this game for more than the first beginning village (right after the bug fight). But me and lots of other people always see the main character and think of Chrono Trigger... I'd be surprised if no one tried to put Crono in the game one day and make something built around him... :p

It's simply because it is - Romhacking in general is an unforgiving landscape for newbies.

I've found this is a very big misconception. What it's actually supposed to be is dicks are going to be dicks. I've always helped others out as much as possible, through some really complex stuff, and down to really straight forward (how to I patch this game?) stuff. I don't think that ROMhacking inherently brings unforgiving members. I think unforgiving members clog up the place and make it unwelcoming. Many people have used their knowledge and capabilities as a sort of ego boost, inflating their sense or worth, and they start to get viciously elitist and prickish. And that too has nothing to with ROMhacking... it's just bad personality traits.

It just sucks that dicks are very loud when they want to be.

Hello to you as well, and welcome back to the board! As a fellow fan of Fire Emblem and ROM hacking, I figured I would pass along this link to a thread you've very likely seen before regarding Fire Emblem hacking. Sadly, I've never seen much done with Fire Emblem as far as hacking goes, but that's most likely due to the lack of an efficient all-in-one editor.

If you're interested in having a go at it, or at least toying around with the existing editors, you can find the resources collected here.

Ah, I already know about all that stuff :p It's a shame everyone's afraid of looking into all the Japanese knowledge available about the games... and that no one's bothering to make a comprehensive editor. For some reason, it became popular for the users to patch together about five different programs--a generic data editor (nightmare! from back in the day of acmlm), generic map editors, and automated inserters... Very "patchy" feeling :x

IRC--I haven't heard that in years :p

I heard about him a few days ago and I've been sharing him since. It's always a bit sad though whens someone doesn't get what he's actually doing... they end up complaining about why they let some guy say such absurd things and waste everyone's time. I guess they aren't too critical or they'd realize that about virtually all the candidates that ever run.

Though the gay powder was a little gay

Before my winter break ended, I got a sudden desire to mess around with some games again But like usual, I lost interest fairly quickly (and the quarter began, so there goes wasted time!). But I did end up drawing these little things up.

I was gonna turn Maoi-Kun into a Dragon Quest-based puzzle game. This is as far as my interest got me ^^;; All my stuff turns out like this--I had a Nuts&Milk hack too that changed everything into a Zelda game where Link was collecting masks for the Mask Salesman. I actually had everything done but the levels... that was back in, like, '08 XD

I don't even know what happened to SquashMonster, the guy who programmed the editor ._.

But yeah, GoldenEgg came out a year or two ago, and it has an actual GUI for levels XD

Are the Axem Rangers overshadowed by more privileged, more loved Axem Commanders?

I haven't played it myself, but I started sharing it the moment my youtube showed the dude's trailer (I was following him for a while). It is a pretty definite experience, 'cause everything is basically new. It does have a few weird moments where you're expected not so much to play a level, but to abuse game mechanics (just-long-enough sort of gimmicks), but overall it's a very interesting game. The levels and their individuality remind me of Mario Galaxy's colorful levels

My guess would be it's related to the eyes? (Though I didn't think they were so large...) As I recall, the whites of the eyes were added in SMB2, so there's probably a leftover that isn't blocked by the shorter sprite (but is when the sprite is small)

I thought the same thing, but I checked some sprite rips and a white color seems to be possible without an extra sprite. But that's my first guess.
