This person is not the only one, Kaze Emanuar is using Patreon to make more SM64 hacks in which Nintendo doesn't allow it because it is a violation of copyright and you know that Nintendo are the nazi's of the company that can take down fan works without warning. Kaze Emanuar's Patreon disappeared but I don't know the reason.

I even have a Patreon but I don't ask people for money to make romhacks/fangames or any other licensed IP's unless I am creating something original.

He came back with his patreon

Check out P's tweets, he's putting RHDN on blast with the Patreon page...

Honestly this guy looks like he's more concerned to get revenge than to solve the problem

I don't go on RHDN anymore ever since the Patreon page came around, I kinda wanna see RHDN be destroyed. I'm good with what P is doing.

Why do you want it that RHDN be destroyed?

What is the beef between RHDN and BHDN?

Long story... oh, history lessons....

Saw this post so i thought i'd pop in and fill in some details.

The original issue was over a hack called "fuckers quest" if i remember right. It got submitted to RHDN, and then removed because it didnt change enough, i.e. some graphics glitched back to the originals and whatnot. That ticked the hacker off.

Fast forward to about a couple years ago. A community of hackers has developed that specialized in vulgar and crass humor. These "badhackers" still submitted things to RHDN. RHDN operated under the guise that this type of thing was acceptable, but would often find excuses to remove them anyways. They allowed a small cadre of users on their RHDN forums to actively and consistently harass the badhackers, calling them Nazis, making false allegations, and various other nonsense. When the Denizens of Badhackery would defend themselves, they would get warnings and temp bans. It got to a point where whole threads, usernames, and hacks would be locked and deleted entirely. Mods would lock threads and attack users over thing as minor as political differences in threads for the DISCUSSION of politics. One of my favorite examples was a user being allowed to call a hack that was in the process of rearranging the level and boss AI in a game a "Nesticle grade" hack, because said user didnt like that the game now had a vulgar theme.

If you said anything to the mods about the biases they circled the wagons, and attempting to talk to Nightcrawler, the sites owner, he straight up admitted he had no idea what was going on between the mods and the users.

This all sort of came to a head with me... (or at least it does in my head) There had been multiple hacks submitted that did little more than change gender pronouns in many of the Legend of Zelda games. So i decided to pull out the old "i identify as an attack helicopter" meme and created "zelda: attack helicopter edition" where i replaced Link with the helicopter from "Bionic Commando", and replaced the opening text crawl with said meme. It was submitted, eventually accepted, and then removed for a lack of significant changes despite making MORE changes than the aforementioned "gender neutral" hacks. I protested, and afterward flagged the GN hacks, and several others that did not meet the criteria i was being held to.

As this was going on, there were requests for a clarification of just what the rules were. Nightcrawler tantrummed, passed the buck to two members of the mod team, and locked the thread when THEY were asked to clarify. At that point i had written an article based on what had been going on, as the badhackers had kept a thread running on their forums documenting any time a bullshitty issue had happened with a user or a mod at RHDN. After the article was posted, i was banned officially for "abusing the submissions system" and unofficially (according to a moderator) for writing the article. Many of the other BHDN users were also banned. Sometimes for months old offenses that they'd already been warned for. ON had a ban message so long it didn't even send the whole thing. One user is currently not "banned" but on permanent probation where he cannot make any post without approval, and has been told the only reason he isn't completely banned is it would cause too much trouble and they know it,as he's involved in a large amount of projects.

So there you go. Thats the gist of it. To learn more please refer to the following pages, The first one was written a while ago, but the second set has archives of as much as possible so you are free to judge for yourself on the situation.

So you was the guy that made the "zelda: attack helicopter edition" hack! I have to say, when I saw this hack I died of laughing.

Why do people that clearly never played a game before are being pay to review a game? We always have an article comparing a game to dark souls or embarrassed gameplay video.

And don't even remind me, when some "Games Journalists" use a game to push his agenda instead of reviewing the game.

I working on a hack of streets of rage 2 that will have looney tunes characters as playable characters as well as bosses.

So far I have included Taz and Bugs Bunny as playable characters, but I intend to include Daffy duck and Wile E. Coyote as well.

For the bosses Jack will be replaced for Lola bunny, Zamza for Elmer and Abadede for sylvester. I plan to include Marvin the martian, but I still deciding who he will replaced.

The hack also will have:
-new pallets to give a more cartoonized appearance
-new voices
-new texts

I'm planning on editing the enemies, things like spawning mode, initial position, limit of enemies or scene group, but I'll do it at the end.

Here is a preview of the hack

Just curious here but when you do you sprite edit hacks like this.

*Why do you not change the avatar pics for each character you modded ?

*Why is the title screen graphics not modded to reflect your certain sprite hack ?

*Do you have any direct links to your complete works ?

A update about my hack: I decided to use the syndicate wars to make my mod, the reason is that I want that sylvester be playable. I'll try to make another version based in the original idea, but this will be for another day!

This looks great, Metal64. I love how each looney tune has their own moves. Did you rip the graphics or create them from scratch? Either way, this is impressive...and funny to watch

All the sprites are ripped from others games, with the exception of the sprites of the instant martians that are a sprite from mugen

Taz not doing his signature spin is quite disappointing.

He does, the slide and the def special are spin attacks

Oh sorry, didn't experiment much when I tested it.

BTW, Witch Hazel still has Electra's pickup and falling-from-above sprites. I thought Hazel's sprites are freaky af. Why no Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd?

EDIT: Would be nice if the new sprites have shadows on their feet.

The Electra's pickup and falling-from-above sprites for some reason I couldn't edit.

Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd are in this mod, Elmer Fudd is the sword attack for Bugs bunny and Yosemite Sam is the sword attack for Wile E. Coyote.

At first I intended to put a lot characters, but there is a limit of sprite that I can put.
