I suppose not.

But it would be good to put the StopForumSpam code onto this site, so if an IP is listed there a CAPTCHA has to be entered (one of those reCAPTCHA annoying ones) and it will unlock the site until the next session.

This doesn't always load in web proxy sites so any spambots using those to conceal IPs will be given a full boot.

But stopforumspam doesn't always block every spammer, and the more sophisticated ones will get around it.

Spam is a bit of a problem here but it doesn't really affect the rest of the community too much compared to people who troll and spam rubbish everywhere (*rolls eyes at termingamer*).

BOARD2 WILL NEVER DIE

BLITZENDEGEN

True, new members will always register and ask for rom-hacking help at the least.

It's not dead in a true sense; people still come here regularly and such. It's just not as active as dedicated communities like smwcentral and jul.

I do find it annoying when StapleButter reregs and moans 'oh board2 is only up because blackhole89 is stubborn' or some other shit. It's open because it's been there and the people that do visit don't want it to shutdown.

And last week one day had around 74 posts (mostly me and Quick Curly) which doesn't tell me this site is terminated from activity.

No Mario Maker or such will be as good as Lunar Magic (or other good ROM-Hacking tools), even the Wikipedia article for it says it's the best ROM hacking tool of all time.

Who cares if something is official? ROM-Hacking makes things even better.

Mario Maker is just a rip-off... even if it's official... In 2009, Pouetpu-games.com released Super Mario Flash (Level Editor), you can share your levels, load others' and stuff (I made some for no reason). Oh yeah, but this isn't ROM-hacking stuff. But hey, it has some secrets!

I'm sure most people knew that already, MM is for kids who don't know what the hell ROM Hacking and board2 are.

Tested Browsers:
quite a bloody few, one infamous one turned 14 today and the others are modern

------

Basically if I post in a thread it comes up there's a new reply on the board (my post) even though I'm logged in anyway.

(No, I didn't post while not logged in)

It's weird, it's only been doing this recently.

Since I might start doing level design for smb3:

What's the best SMB3 Hacking Tool you can find? I mean for level design of course.

I was hoping you wouldn't refer me again, but tell me exactly what level editor.

All you replied was a hyperlink. I read it, as is clear by me saying 'WHICH level editor?'.

There were a few there, obviously one is going to be better than the others, isn't that right?

I needed your opinion and the board's opinion.

Stop going around here if you just seem to moan about things all the bloody time.

I can trust the bloody link, can't I? Mike-Tech, you need to realise that I prefer to know what this community thinks and to see it on the site.

Why would I need to contact ninjablooper just because I don't agree with a post? That's stupid, indeed.

@Googie thanks. I'll download that later, try to figure it out and perhaps make a custom level. At least you said something instead of just referring me off the board.

Just wondering: what ROM and version do I need?

This is another game I MIGHT get into hacking so yeah. I might use the (E) version which is the only verified good dump of SMK. The US version doesn't have a verified dump but does have an unmarked one which works fine, and the J version obviously won't be editable for text.

Seeing as it's August 29 it's the best time to post it here.

Why? Judgment Day was meant to be on that date 18 years ago, but it was averted in the original timeline.

The first two Terminators are the best of all time. They had a proper story and no big bullshit like the other three.

T5 was OK, but they made it just for the money and also to stop James Cameron getting the rights back in my opinion. And it is aimed at kids while the first two are free.

I don't consider T3-T5 proper Terminator films because they veered off and ruined everything. Maybe Terminator 2 should have had its original ending and then there would be no T3, 4 or 5.

However when Arnold Schwarzenegger dies, can you give the challenge of watching the T2 end? I don't even think a terminator could lol.

Anyway post here about terminator films.

Any. J/U/E, headered or not.

OK, that's good. I asked because some hacking tools don't support E roms unfairly.

Well, it is, as long as the text stays in Japanese. You could also edit the font graphics, but EE won't help much you with that.

That's true, as you say, it is meant for track editing only.

I'm done.

On Judgment Day, 29th August, I happen to leave all the acmlm based websites in the world. Forever.

Oh, and this is permanent and I should stick to it. Hopefully (If I don't ip ban my account and ban proxies from browsing this site)

Actually, I'm making one exception and that is xeogaming (where I cannot log in anyway but can post).

Here's why:

  • Bad reputation. For some retarded reason, someone (MPG) decided it would be good to destroy my last forum and also to spam other sites in my name. And the fact I am a known spammer anyway on these acmlm-based boards, but I'm unknown on other sites.

  • Reregging. I've reregged in loads of dead boards (all acmlmboards).

  • People in general being arseholes. I don't treat everyone like an arse, and the people I do treat like an arsehole deserve it, because they are idiots. It's always on the acmlm forums that this seems to happen.

  • Too bloody young compared to you lot. That's exactly it. I'm not old enough to stay on any boards really.

  • Generally the people that I discussed stuff with get banned or I get banned on the only sites they are active on.

  • Most of the people I know don't care for boards and shit, in fact I'm pretty much a target for things due to not having this, being shorter than average, and other shit. In fact in general I'm just too incompetent and stupid to even take part anywhere, all I like doing is throwing shit in everyone's faces.

Alright some of the reasons are pure idiotic but really, the main one is that I haven't got any problem on serious boards or such, it seems to be only on acmlmboards.

Here for instance most of the shit I post is an arguments with Mike-Tech and other shit.

cool story bro

have fun doing whatever you'll be doing now, though

I am not sure. I have probably got some sort of problem with myself, I leave, return, leave again, disappear for a while, basically it all goes round in a circle and it is confusing.

I might leave though, or return. Do not take my word for anything since I have no mind or I have multiple opinions on a lot of things.

when was the board started?

Probably in January or february 2007, if not black may know.

19th February 2007 was the first registered account (Acmlm).

That's true, as you say, it is meant for track editing only.

I mean, I did bother adding support for editing the Japanese text, but you just can't use most roman characters. That actually took efforts, as it's harder to support than English text. On the bright side, it seems I didn't necessarily waste my time, as I saw EE gets mentioned on some Japanese sites.

On a side note, it must be possible to extract the uncensored Peach podium animation and insert it into the Euro or US ROM.

I don't think it would be too much trouble since her sprite wasn't edited (I think Yoshi's sprite is redrawn in the Japanese version, which looks more like the one in the prototype).

However I don't know about snes animation limits at all.

I cannot answer that question, it is not in my database.

I play DKC, COD (BO1 and Ghosts mainly as COD4 is broken).

I have two dogs, not a cat. They are fine. I'll get you a picture of one of them if you like.

Yeah, forget the other three. I can't remember the other three but I'll always remember 1 and 2. In fact I have a few wmvs on my computer from terminator (converted to HD .mp4 then converted to HQ .wmv).

T1 really did show you can make a great film from a low budget (compared to T2 and the rest anyway). And the storyline evolved from a dream about a metal skeleton, chasing a woman (Sarah Connor), apparently.

First result in Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo for 'Acmlm's Board' is actually Board 2.
Which is nice.

OK, I understand this.

I came to it originally because of SMW Central shit in the forum games, my banning off a tonne of boards (due to general idiocy) and things like that.

However I might as well stay again, because there's a spark in board2 that makes me return here. If I get banned from a site you might tell if I am bothered with it because I flood a load of accounts, or I rereg legitimately, like here.

So I think I said this on the wrong board, I should have said about this in smwcentral (where I'm 5 days inactive) and such, not board2.

Some people are OK here and some people aren't, it is annoying and makes me leave a board for a few days or so but I barely ever leave the site permanently.

In fact, I did rereg here before, but forgot the password and proxy.
