Reference for anyone else, Yushe told me:

1. Put all files in /htdocs/ , /public_html/ or /www/ (or whatever equivalent your host gives you). The one in my signature uses htdocs.

2. Configure everything in a file. I'm not sure what the file is though.

3. Go to phpMyAdmin and import everything from an SQL file into the DB

Done. Not sure of anything else but this is for 2.5.2 is 2.1 available for release?

oh hey let's bump a two year old thread for no reason other than advertising my own freehost

Actually Yushe did give me the tutorial, and that host is useless considering there's about 48484738239 copies of it everywhere.

I only mentioned it in the post because it's already linked into my signature, also here's Yushe's exact words from DM:

Jamie Dignam

How do you install acmlm?
11h 11 hours ago
Yushe

put the files that are in the public_html folder into public_html
Yushe

config acmlm and then import the sql files you want
Yushe

if your having trouble installing it read this http://board.kafuka.org/thread.php?id=948 …
Yushe

if after you've installed it you find its not working you either installed it wrong or you have a version that doesn't work

Simply because I don't see someone going here for that sort of thing.
Also because I'm fine with bumping as long as it contributes something or another to the discussion, if it's like "bump" then no.

Nice project! Hopefully this goes well even if it isn't 100% my cup of tea.

I have an NES, but I don't play it I'm keeping as a collector's item.

Oh cool. Makes sense, since they can go for a lot of money and emulation of the system is fairly accurate and doable.

What games do you keep for the system?

Same here. It looks really nice, from what I remember of it, and it seems interesting.

I don't really care about getting myself on the whole board index to be honest, the question is why you keep using accounts from the database dump to flame me.

You say I have no life? Well, if you're going to be on a random, supposedly dead board to flame, that kinda says enough about you.

Reported you to the admins, just stop coming back constantly and stick to wherever you want to be. It's nonsense, this.

That is the nice place, especially rom hacks and stuff, just dropping by to say hi.

Hi Legacy Yoshi, welcome to the forums! How did you find us, and what do you plan to contribute?

Thanks!

do you not remember my thread

Pretty sure that was for downloads of 1.92 with a working installer, not generally how to install AB2.
I remember Yushe at the time was trying to install 2.xx.

Map editing? Yeah, that is a total pain.

Also, I don't see MarioBros980 coming back any time soon, so I'm not sure if the links are to be updated soon either.

Does anyone still have the D/L of the IPS patch here?

it's probably less ridiculous than trying to throw a party in a cemetery

I'm trying to re-boot the community aspect somewhat here. If people wanted this board dead so badly, we'd see no posts in ROM hacking, right? I think point has been given.

Besides, if you want this community dead, you wouldn't post

I just don't see what is wrong with posting things on a community just because it isn't 'active' as you define. You don't magically get a community to work, you've got to post things for people to get interested and start a discussion.

Besides, I get my name in the landfill all the time, but I don't care about the display case. I'm not an important user here.

Hopefully you have a good time here though. I'm happy for people to feel welcomed here as well as discuss as part of a community, you seem to be here for good intentions.

And yeah, this is my go-to place for ROM hacking topics. Don't like the look of RHDN at all, it's hard to use, while this software is pretty simplistic.

There's a music disassembly for MM2, but I haven't looked around properly yet, this particular link is commented.

List of non-Acmlmboard websites I was banned from:

* GBATemp - requested ban, then the mods wouldn't merge my account when I asked for it back because the cancer there said no, that wasn't the mod's decisions, until my thread turned into a lot of drama.

There you go.

(Additionally there was another forum I was banned from, but that was because I reregged when I didn't realise I knew my account details to my first account there, but I have a fine rep there)

Besides, look at http://hosters.cc/ and see profile for user 9 (me), I have
a) highest rep
b) most posts
c) also, most referrals

That kinda shoves your point up your ass.
That board also became rather active straight after I returned to it.

It's also mostly because of stupid Luigi442wii why I'm hated a lot across the acmlmboards as well as some of the other drama that happens, which is usually because of whatever happened in those times. In fact, the general ROM hacking and software development community hate me, while the tech-support community and web hosting community are fine.

Since you're not going to read most of the above, I won't bother with you anymore.

hosters.cc is a community formed from the remains of old and dead youhosting.com. I was the person who suggested to move there so discussions about hosting in general could be more convenient.

Full list:

Kuribo64: idiocy, immaturity, shitposts (deserved, sorta requested) - Sept. 2014
NSMBHD: same as above, but reregging as well (deserved) - Sept. 2014
MKDS Central: insulting staff's intelligence (deserved) - Sept. 2014
ABXD DevBoard: similar to above, but was more of a request (deserved) - Sept. 2014
Kafuka: spamming the board with useless shit (deserved) - Jul. 2015
DSHack: generally being an idiot (deserved) - Sept. 2014
RVLution: "spam", although this was a ban that happened over a month after my last view, which confuses me. Though my posts were similarly shit. - Nov. 2014
Jul: ranting childishly, spam (deserved) - Aug. 28, 2015
4dsdev: crap posts, the ban on Jul (better posts, but still deserved that) - Aug 28, 2015
MMM: requested because I was being a smartass to LM about him giving me around 5 or 6 previous warnings in the last months I was there - Jul. 2015 (deserved anyway)
CST101: same as MMM I think, also notably Skiaak banned me there before for no reason other than a single word I wrote on my profile - Jul. 2015 (idk)

Other boards:

some board owned by Yoshimaster and Skiaak - because I said I was an idiot in my bio. Feb. 2015
launchstar64 - criticising the board under an alt account as well as offsite activity - Jul. 2016

That's a damn lot of boards, but notice I was banned from most of them at the same time, have similar staff members, and mostly for the same reasons. Also the only 2 bans I've had so far this year that wasn't on a closed board was GBATemp, but I'm unbanned as of yesterday.
