I'd personally want to reset the board. Considering the state it's in right now with these random accounts suddenly being active and then starting to insult/whatever, it might be time to relocate somewhere else, such as a sequel to this board.

Personally, I'd run ABXD 2.2.6 on the new forums, but I don't want to host it. We can make this 'archive4' on the server and make /board/ a new ABXD or AcmlmBoard project, that I don't know of yet.

Perhaps scrap some older forums that are inactive in the new build. I could get a test server running with a demo of what the new board2 could look like. Might bring some life back.

I feel this board needs a new main admin too. While blackhole89 isn't that bad I feel he has to be more preoccupied with real life than running this board, hence why for the last 8 days he was inactive. Quick hasn't been here for a while but he usually comes back, he was a good staff member, and it was me that got him elected (or helped).

AB2.1 must have some big security hole somewhere, I guess. I think it has several. I could get someone to look into the code for holes I guess, if I sent him some stuff, he's a good hacker.

Windows XP is 15 years old on August 24, 2016, when it was first released to manufacturers for sale.

The OS holds very many love and memories of me on my first computer, an IBM ThinkPad R50e which likely still works to this day. XP was reliable, and XP was good. If it didn't work you could always still do something with it (usually).

So many great times. Flash games, MSN/Windows Messenger, WordPad, MS Office 2003, Outlook Express, IE6, the start of forums, ACMLM'S BOARD I2, XEOGAMING, etc. etc. and I was born just a month later after its release as well.

An amazing OS it was simple and easy to use while being fully featured.

It was excluded from mainstream support in April 8, 2014, but has actually still got support if you do a registry hack.

I'm listening to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gKSRg47E4A (DKC, Life in the Mines) and it reminds me of XP nostalgia, oddly.

Actually, Comic Sans was trending, so I don't think so. Just not many people used the actual hash tag.

Also, XP was only released to manufacturers on August 24, it wasn't actually released in disc format until October 2001, so people probably won't celebrate until then, but the actual OS was completed on 24/8 so I'll go by that date.

The recent drama with all these accounts from November 2011 suddenly popping up makes me wonder though.

I could try to get more people in here too.

I don't know why they suddenly started to pop up, nor do I know why someone has registered a ton of accounts in that month to use years later for spamming the board with and personally attacking me/cderp4.

That label is pretty misleading. Luigi has a cape and I doubt a SMB1 hack has the cape.

Only one of my hacks has ever been made into a homebrew cartridge. Super Mario Adventures. A marioization of Tiny Toon Adventures. Was pretty neat that someone liked it that much to make a cartridge tho.
