So, as I'm a beginner to the SMW lark, I want to make some testing levels first in the ROM.

Perhaps, I'll run an emulator and Lunar Magic and replace the test levels with new shit, this would be a good idea or not?

Also, I'm having trouble doing the basics of Lunar Magic. I've just got into this and don't know how to do anything except delete an object... lol, Termin's newbie hat has got bigger

Any comments?

OK, let's see you go and refer everyone off Board 2 and kill it even more, shall we?

I didn't think fan translations were that much popular to make anymore.
Looks good.

It doesn't say 0 here, it just has ().

PHP 7 is going to be made in late 2015 anyway.

OK...

Probably SMB1, SMB2 and SMB3.
I'm also want to do SML and SML2, but tools don't exist for the latter which sucks.

Bump!

The full version is only contained on the JY-120 45-in-1 multicart, or the non-verified ROM dump. Actual cartridges are unfinished and are classed as [b1] on the ROM dump.

Hey, thanks. I'm aware of how board2 works at least (unlike Mike-Tech, who thinks he can cause cross-board drama).

I like it when it's cold and dry, usually.

Quick Curly: why not you make an ask thread here?

Same issue as on xeogaming.net

I can't login to the board. It says 'You are logged in as Termingamer2-JD. Please wait until we redirect you to main', when redirects, it doesn't log me in at all. It redirects me, but says I'm still in as a guest.

Weird, it does it on xeogaming and now on board2, it was fine less than 24 hours ago.

Have I got cookie issues (I keep seeing shitty popups about EU law cookie changes)? Or is it just Opera or my ISP fucking the shit out of AcmlmBoards (BT)? Or a PHP update has rendered Logging In as useless?

Help. Staff, respond. Oh, and because I can't edit this thread now, I'll be have issues.

Oh wait: it's fine, I cleared my cookies now (thanks Vizzed Board for the message on the login page 'If you're having trouble logging in clear your cookies')!

Come to think of it, I wonder if there would be any interest in a project that completed the individual ROM dump for the NES port, similar to how some graphic hacks on multi-cart ROMs have been copied over to ROM dumps of the specific, individual game.

There was a hacking project started by macbee a couple years ago to improve the graphics of the NES version, but there haven't been any updates for nearly just as long. It might still be getting worked on here and there, but it probably won't be completed anytime soon.

As I said, it already exists. It has no marks like [ b ] or [o] on it, and the [b1] dump is the cartridge. Although, if you mean an actual cartridge of the full version, I don't think there is.

You could always check macbee's last visit/contribution to anything there, maybe he pulled a disappearance like some people do for no reason.

Edit: fixed [ b ] so it wasn't making the text bold

Completing a level in hex is pretty much an accomplishment in itself.
Do you have a video to show us how it came out?

I've never played Pokemon.

To be fair, not many people still go to board2, so hmm. I've only had two people ask here (you and ninjablooper, Mike-Tech is just trying to do something stupid here).

I was referring to the pack seen in GoodNES: there's a (Unl) version which is the full version, a [b1] which seems to just be the incomplete version and there's a [p1] which I didn't try, but I know that means 'pirate'.

Also, on the subject: what's a 'trained' rom?

I don't think there's much call for this scene, I haven't seen much besides a few Custom Tracks.

Maybe, you should start a board (of course, running Acmlm or ABXD) on the MK64 hacking scene and finally develop a tool!

Yeah, I see your point. M-T was taking stuff from kafuka to board2 which aggravated me, as usual and made me over-react to something that seems to have stopped (the troll's only objectives seemed to be to get me banned from three boards and close my own sites down).

I like the Sprite drink (much better than 7-Up). I also like sausage rolls and also proper beef burgers or sausages - not that stuff they'd serve you at a takeaway, the sort of thing you'd do at home. We get manipulated with our tastes these days via ready meals and the takeaways I bet you it would be tasteless or horrible, without all the additives and mind tricks.

Barbecues are best. No doubt.

(you sound like the sort of person who would be a good moderator/admin of a good board, for some reason.)

I would like to see a Mega Man hack that fits all of the original six Mega Man games into one rom, with three save files for each game. The games would have small fixes to them, like Mega Man 2 and 3 could be modified so you can re-enter levels after you defeat them, and the weird slippery running physics in Mega Man 1, 2, and 3 could be fixed. I'm not sure that many games could be fit into one ROM though...

Not a bad idea, but would it all fit into one ROM and run on the actual hardware? We fit four Mario titles on one game so this could work...

World 1-1 looks great. It's pitched at the right level to showoff the gameplay mechanics.
Nintendo themselves would probably appeal to this, it's good enough!

Keep it up.

I normally watch a couple of films a month, and that's all.
