Hi! I'm K.T.B. (obviously). You may know me as KTBMedia from youtube or KTBHacking from SMWCentral, but you can just call me KTB for short. I heard about this place a while back, and decided to register here myself, as this sounds like a nice place and I enjoy being on other ROM hacking sites as well, such as SMWCentral or Zeldix. Chances are, I won't be extremely active here or anything, but I'll stick around and I'll check back as often as possible. |

Ok, so I was looking through the archives of this place (apparently it was wiped like three times) and found multiple archives of acmlm, mainly I2 and I3. However, I can't find the equivalent of "I1" of this place, or the first incarnation. :/ I've looked all over, and even found some links that claimed to be what I was looking for, but they all just don't work. Does anybody know where I can find them?
Thanks in advance. EDIT: Also, speaking of archives, there was something else I asked about on SMWC so I thought it was worth a shot asking here since they couldn't answer it =P Does anyone have any backups of the old SMWCentral before the wipe? Kieran got rid of the old.smwcentral.net archive and now regrets it, but I haven't given up hope yet! Thanks again. =) |

Ok, I'll try that. Do you know the original URL of it? Was it the same as here (acmlm.kafuka.org)? or something else, like board.acmlm.org (I heard that was something else)?
EDIT: Tried it, no dice. Is Acmlm still around? Maybe he has a copy of it somewhere? |

Those don't work either
Oh well, too bad. Not like I really needed them anyway |

Um, why is there going to be another site in 2017? Why would we need that?
Also, is Acmlm still around? Maybe we could ask him about the archive, and if he still has it.. . |

Posted by MikeTechnoPosted by K.T.B. Ok, sent him a PM, thanks. Also why does that board exist, anyway? It's already confusing to me enough that there's this (board 2) and Jul, but why is there also THAT acmlm version thing. |

This stinks, hopefully it won't take too long for it to move completely. I, of course, was using the old archives for a minor side-project of mine at this time, so now I have to use the wayback machine and hope it has what I'm looking for until this finishes
What do those emoticons mean in this context anyway? I'm assuming means finished, and means not finished, but what about the ? Does that mean it's partially moved but not all the way or something? |

Ah, so that was the issue. I was worried.
Back on topic: Acmlm I1 aside, does anyone at least know about the three old boards that existed before Acmlm used ones he coded himself? Before what we all know as the "first incarnation" began, there were two forums run by EZBoards and later one run on WWWThreads. Are there at least any archives of that? |

Not trying to sound impatient or anything, but is everything with it alright? There haven't been any updates in days |

Posted by Termingamer2-JD No, the Wayback Machine was made in 1996, there are some archived pages from it, but not all of it. |

Jesus christ that's a lot of files. Still transferring after all these months? Wow, hard to believe that's how much data that has accumulated on Acmlm's Board after all these years. |

Got to wayback archives of acmlm.overclocked.org and when you see the old boards in the side menu go to them. |

Now that I think about it, why is this board even called Board 2? Because it's like a second Acmlm's Board? Why not just call it Acmlm's Board then, it's not like there's another site called that currently, unless Jul is the "official" successor to it, which I doubt. |

Uh... I'm pretty sure it's more than 1 GB considering how long it's taking. |

I haven't played too many, mostly just The Second Reality Project and Mario's Keytastrophe, and out of those I'd definitely have to say Keytastrophe.
I'm also playing Golden Yoshi's "SMW2+", and that's really good, though I haven't played it in a while because I got stuck on one of the early castle stages. |

It doesn't seem like it'd be worth it IMO - there's already tons of hacks, resources, and info on wikis like TCRF and SMWCentral's wiki, not to mention SMWCentral itself.
Like someone else said, the only real use that I can see this having is data on the community history and drama and whatnot, though I would personal still be kind of interested in that |

I am absolutely by no means a "new member", but I'm just dropping in to say that holy crap, I'm amazed that this site still exists. It's a fairly big deal for me in terms of nostalgia, but I can't say I'm too surprised at how inactive it is nowadays.
Anyways, hi. I have no idea who most of you guys are, including Plokzig, so evidently some new faces still pop into here every now and then. Though, some things are kind of strange, though - why is it that so many recent posts on here are from banned users, talking about "Jamie"? I haven't heard from Jamie in like a million years. |
