There should be no saving issues in v3.2. I cannot re-create the glitch with the gate being closed again. Spolier Once you deliver the letter to Error, he will open a portion of the blockade, so that you can pass & enter the Light World Ganon castle. This should not be resetting at all. The only thing that resets, is Error, since he has the letter. You can not re-obtain the letter. However, the blockade that Error opened for Link, SHOULD still remain open forever.

Again, please make sure to be using v3.2 on a clean PRG0 rom, and not using any previously created save states, or battery backed save files. All heart pieces should be working as well too. I have played & saved on FCEUX pc, Nestopia on WiiU, & on my NES, and have had no issues with those items.

If you are able to re-create those issues more than once, and can submit video evidence so I can see how this was triggered, i'll take a look when I can, but I'm pretty much burnt out with rom hacking and this particular project in general. I do apologize for any inconveniences during gameplay, but v3.2 is pretty much the final version of my work, and it's the most stable.

I have the Flashback cartridge version, which I assume is 3.2, and I just ran into the gate glitch.

Yep it was expensive but it was the easiest way for me to play it on a real NES as I don't have the time to do it myself.

So now that I've progressed with the "solution" in the skull dungeon are there two items or just one? I found Ganon before I searched the top left of the dungeon so I might have missed whatever item was there and now cannot back track. Anybody know?

SePH and Euclid could have done better so why begin to make a AttP mod which uses INSANE difficulty and not to mention I have to master from the original game.

If people actually brought carts of the game after they played it for the first time, they may think it's a fuck load of shit.

That's I've decided to make a Remodel of it a while back and Parallel Remodel was released. Since it was also quite debbuged and is compatible with real hardware, this might be much more logical to have a cart of, although I don't like the idea.

Then I must be hyper player as I have tried the certed version of the original LoZ PW and I only died 3 times before beating the Guardhouse.

Are you sure you don't have the remodel. Note the Remodel is difficult to see, since the Title screen is unchanged. You can test it like so: the very first cave (south of the Church) you enter must have 1 Armos knight (original). If no such knight, then it is Remodel.

If however you are sure of it, then you definitely are one of that 5 percent. By the way, what did you do, when 4 armed soldiers (which run faster as in Alttp) attacked you and you had no sword. It must have been some super stealth/dodge method.

I know players who quit PW before the Guardhouse (they never managed to come pass that big cave with shooters).

I hope Legend of Link is not that difficult.

Another thing for us modders, try to make game without the use of save states. But if such a game would be played on emus (with save states) it would be to easy then.

I have the non-puzzledude remodel and did not have a problem with the Guardhouse, although I did die a ton. That Armos Knight level was probably the hardest part by far. I ended up giving up in the Parallel Tower when I would get up multiple levels only to fall. The remodel makes it much more enjoyable and I applaude the extra work put in to make it that way!

As for Legend of Link, are there 1 or 2 items in the first Skull dungeon?
