Used to be ROM hacking. But I guess web-related things would be the more recent one. Tend to set up forums, etc, to experiment on. ____________________ |

Latest Guilty Gear games I've played are the PC versions of Isuka and #Reload. It's hard for me to get into fighters, single player mode doesn't appeal much in a lot of them. The #Reload fan-made online patch was only on Japanese copies. They didn't make one to use with Europe's last I checked.
Slash ultimately didn't get an English release. Much to the disappointment of fans. And how much is Sammy involved anyway? I've heard they sold or spun off their US studio. No games are published under the brand here now. ____________________ |

One of the few data corruptions I've had was Final Fantasy VII. And I can reasonably confirm it wasn't due to the memory card because no other save on there was affected.
Speaking of memory... I actually had to buy this current PSP, because the first one of mine which I'd later got rid of, would not read any Memory Stick Pro Duo. Although I'm still limited when it comes to using downloaded ISOs (custom firmware) since a few games are bigger than 1GB even if trimmed or compressed. Yeah, Saturn did feature built in storage. Not reliable long-term since it used a battery to keep active power. ____________________ |

Might be interesting. Although, I kinda overstretched my budget toward a PS3 and can't afford it this week.
Didn't play those last two games much, but I seem to recall enjoying the first more. Think it was Halo 2's low texture resolution or something that put me off. ____________________ |

While it may not directly relate to fanboys, one thing I really can't stand is new videeo game hardware that has technical flaws right out of the box. Especially if they're specific to just me and few if any other people experience it. The reliability of Gamecube controllers for instance. Or my previous PSP not being about to read Memory Stick Pro Duo cards.
I guess it's still relevant though. When you mention things like the above to them, they'll damage control it and attempt making said problems seem like your own fault. Gah! Anyway. Typically call myself a Microsoft fanboy, but it's not too noticable since I play such a wide variety of games on many systems. And yes. I do hate Nintendo in real-life. People online who disregard the existance of outside are something else that just irks me to no end... ____________________ |

To get information about hacking Super Mario World. Yes, that hack is still not complete. And it's been in development since 2001. ____________________ |

I've just got the early HL2 collector's edition (included access to HL1-based games), and HL2 Xbox. Fairly hard puzzles if you're not familiar with them. I'd been stuck in a certain area quite some time. Now I'm in some place called Ravenholm or whatever it was. ____________________ |

I got a Wii early this summer when there weren't many new games to encourage system sales. Though, didn't buy it with backwards compatibility in mind like the PS3. ____________________ |

GoodNES ROM packages work great. You just need patience. There's usually thousands of files to sort through. Since often you'll find they contain every last regional variant, minor bug fix, bad dump, trainer hack, fan translation revision, etc. In addition to the "proper" dumps. ____________________ |

Any Call of Duty on 360 is fun, IMO. 2 and 3 are fairly cheap now.
The WWE gamess are still worth at least a rental too. ____________________ |

So this is replacing SMWC? It'll be interesting to see what differences it has. Aside from less n00bs that I can tell. ____________________ |

PS2 had 2 major shortages. The launch to late 2001 one. And another in 2004 due to phasing out its original model before enough slim types were stocked.
On the other hand, I still see new GameCubes as nobody around here wants them. Used ones sit there also. Wii? I was smart and grabbed mine in the summer when its buzz wasn't as large. ____________________ |

Attempt to beat Shadow Man in Mega Man 3 using just normal shots with exactly one health unit left, no remaining lives, and zero energy tanks. ____________________ |

I wouldn't mind seeing more patches like this. Most of the early Sonic games were entirely English in-game too. ____________________ |

I more hope it has a solid English translation (Capcom is often epic fail in this), in addition to actually reaching shelves in PAL regions. Over 14 years later and they still don't have Mega Man 6 legit. ____________________ |

Network Transmission is mainly notable as being the newest Mega Man game on home systems that's not a port, remake, compilation, or multi-platform, in any region. X7 and X8 don't count since they did reach PC for some countries. ____________________ |

Demoting the very inactive staff is fine.
And yeah. Several once active members left around the time of those splits. After years of there really only being one main board, it ended up as three within a few months. The instability likely had an effect on activity. I decided not to take sides there, registering at each one. ____________________ |

I've preferred PSP from day one. It merely took me far longer to find one for sale, as they were scarce here until 2006. And even more time to find a unit without technical issues. The slim is definitely improved in reliability over fat.
