Indeed it was. It just took me a bit to realize that doing it would be the solution. I'm just tweaking and cleaning up now for the rest of my hack, so no more questions from me. |

Anybody know how to keep the "Hurry Up!" tempo speed for the last lap after the music loop has played through once? It plays fine the first time and then goes back to normal speed afterwards. I'm not sure if it's in the way I wrote my file or if I'm missing a command. I would guess the answer would be similar to how it's handled for SMW? |

Thanks for the suggestions. Testing multiple ways is a good idea. I haven't been using headers in my music to this point, but I should probably go back and add them since I want to export my hack to a cart someday. I might have to invest in a flash cart so that I can test on a real system too before I waste a real one.
And I haven't given up on trying to find a solution to the last lap tempo issue. I'm just dong massive amounts of research trying to educate myself on it. I've got zero experience with how coding and all that works. Not many good resources on it out there that can help me understand, as far as spc is concerned anyways... |

You have to do a google search and find these .dlls from somewhere. I can't give them to you because of Microsoft licensing, blah, blah, blah. http://imgur.com/fMNIdpI They shouldn't be too hard to find.
Another option is if you know how to use lunar compress already. Just use Stifu's offset notes to locate where the music goes and then recompress your .bin music file into the correct slot. Hope this helps... |

I don't have time to make a video right now. I can try to when time permits, but that may be a while. Where are you getting hung up in the process? I can try to walk you through it. |

You have to run it in the command prompt (cmd.exe). Notes about how to use the commands are in my post a page or two back. |

Glad to hear that you got it to work! It does take time and practice to make songs that sound good. Putting it into a word document sounds good to me. And no, I'm not MVS. I'm just some newbie to the scene who only posts on here for now. |

Dirtbag - It sounds like you found some new treasures! I saw on the last page about how you located the animation routines. In another post, you mention changing out the victory tunes... you found those too? Can you share what you know about the new music locations? I had to put my hack on hold until college gets out, which will be in a couple weeks. It would be fun to have some new things to look at!
Stifu - I'm glad to see that you still pick at Epic Edit updates. I think it's great as-is and consider any future additions as a bonus. Thank you! |

I can confirm that the swapping method Stifu refers to for Luigi works just fine. It takes a little effort and planning, but is not hard. |

Congratulations on your release! I know you've worked on this for years and I have to say that it shows in its high quality. It was definitely worth the wait! I like what you did with the music and the themes. Very fun concepts! |

The paint bucket was a fantastic idea and seems to be working like a charm! You've outdone yourself again Stifu! |
