I really need to get around to playing Kid Icarus one day so I can actually try useing this editor.
I've heard it's a pretty damn fine game, but I don't know, it just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe this Kid Icarus editor will be the next Lunar Magic? Who knows, at least it shows that the Rom Hacking scene is still up and moving, just not as fast as it used to move. Also, is it Kid IC-KAR-US or Kid ICK-A-RIS? I need to know, I've been swapping between the two ways of saying it, and I am leaning twords the former. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

The R4/M3 flash carts now have built in Action Replay support in their newest firmware update. Of course...This is bad.
It not only comes with thousands of cheats, but they can all be used on WFC! This is very bad. Message boards left and right are complaining about second placers in Mario Kart DS using Bullet/Blue Shell over and over again against their opponents and having incredible speeds. Also, full HP/Ammo and see through walls is available on Metroid Prime: Hunters. Not even that, but cheats to royally fuck up a town are available and ready to be used on Animal Crossing: Wild World WFC. And to top it all off, Starfox: Command matches don't even start anymore, they end right away giving the person cheating an instant win. The M3/R4 is basically the same flash cart, and are very very mainstream. Anyone who is anybody has one. So yes. WFC is fucked unless Nintendo figures out how to fix this issue, which they may just not. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Yes you are. The flash carts can be used over WFC, I own a M3. When you go to start the game, it asks you if you want to Cheat, and you can activate cheats in there and just connect to WFC and boom, instant cheats.
Oh wait. Are you talking about normal Action Replay? The one you buy in the store? I don't know if it works over WFC or not, but I'm sure it does too. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

They took YI SNES and tried to emulate its graphics, failing in the end. 2/10, the rolling rocks and such aren't as broken as they used to be on the SNES, so I guess thats a plus. And there was this huge tap tap that rolls around at one point, that was neat to I guess. Sound: BAD. Very BAD. No rhythm, no memorable tune, nothing. The music is happy no matter where you are. And by happy I mean, 4 little taps on a xylophone and a few bad tooba sounds and the song repeats. Thats happy in everyones book. 1/10 Where the fuck is Kazumi Totaka when you need him? Oh that's right, sticking his secret song in to random games, how could I forget. Gameplay: Also bad. Yoshi is very slippery, there are these new blocks that only certain babies can hit, and everything else is stolen straight out of YI SNES, which is bad. 3/10 Replayability: None. You won't want to get 100% from what I've heard, the game is really hard near the end. 3/10 Overall: It sucks. Don't buy it. I'm glad I didn't. If you have some whacked out rental store near you that actually has DS games to rent, rent it, but even then, I wouldn't waste the $5-$7. ------- Oh yea. Forgot to mention, even though its in the irc part. WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE KANGAROOS THAT FLY IN THIS GAME?! ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

I was at a games shop yesterday and one of the guys told us about this, and one of my friend was like "Thats so funny, he only killed 20 and wounded 20 but he had two bandeliers of ammo? If your going to have that much ammo at least find a way to distribute it! Hahahahaha!"
