So yea. How about them "New" buttons? They really look silly...
We should totally use a new set, unlike the last ones however. Perhaps one that glows for a quick second and then for a good 3 seconds doesn't so it doesn't flash too much. I probably should have read through the thread, I'm sure this has been brought up once or twice, but I just thought I would show that there is interest in the change of it. It's just so small and unattractive. My friend was poking around here and was discouraged by the New buttons looking so small and poor. EDIT: Oh, and how about the stupidest but possibly best thing to happen to Acmlm's? A spell checker button in newpost.php that checks all your spelling with a self-made vocabulary file (So things like Acmlm and Banhammer doesn't come up)! ITS A TRAP!
Sgraff is useing this thread to pull ideas for that Super Maria Sisters hack! I know it!!! Nah I'm just kidding. I would love to do 3D modeling and level design, and I would really enjoy working with Sonic Team, trying my best to bring Sonic back to what it used to be (I'm telling you, THREE DEE SONIC THREE AND KAY REMIX) and possibly start new franchises (A problem with many developers these days, many stick with whats not broken and not make new things). I wouldn't mind learning to program, but as I have said before, I need to be sat down and taught it becuase I get too distracted by tutorials and if I need to ask a question I cannot ask a .doc file how to do something. But a game I would make would totally be Sonic, 2D, and on a next-gen console, but making up for the 2D with the best special effects possible and longer gametime possible! Fun level design, no camera problems, back to roots, and really long game. All what would be needed to just make one good Sonic game these days... ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Even though it was said another hack would never give birth from Golden Yoshi's brilliant mind, another one has surfaced.
From the creator of the first finished SMW: Yoshi's Island hack, comes SMW2+2: Yoshi's Island 2! But isn't that quite the repetitious name? No. Golden Yoshi is creating what should have been a proper sequel to SMW2, giving fans who were hurt by Yoshi's Island DS something better. Around 6 months or so before the infamous board split, Golden Yoshi gave up on Acmlm's due to the uproar of drama and other unknown reasons. He asked me and S.N.N. to post for him in his place. I've got about 20+ levels made so far, 7 at this house, 16 at the other, and a good 5 or so at school. I'll combine them all and package it some day next week so you guys have a new level pack. I totally have a substitute English teacher today, and he looks exactly like Peter_ac. I compared him to a 2-3 year old picture of him with a friend, and I swear they look exactly alike. Funny thing is, the teachers last name is Pac. Mr. Pac.
