Disaled right-click can be worked around by...
  • View Source in the menu
  • view-source:www.google.ca
  • Retrieving the files from your cache
  • Saving the page and editing it in a text editor as Metal_Man88 pointed out
  • Disabling Javascript
  • Userscripts or Firefox extensions to re-enable it or prevent it being disabled (Firefox actually has a built-in option to prevent it, but for some reason it's off by default )
  • Filtering proxies like Proxomitron to dump the source and/or remove the nasty code
  • Many of the generic copypasta scripts don't work if you click both buttons at once
  • The ones that pop up a message box also tend to not work if you click as the box is closing
  • In Firefox, Page Info gives you a list of the URLs of all images, links, etc; Web Developer can show you this stuff too
  • For images, simply guessing at the directory the images are stored in; with n00bs using copypasta code it tends to be /images and have directory listing enabled
  • In IE (or Firefox using an extension), hovering over an image makes a floating toolbar pop up, from where you can save it (I used this one all the time when I was a n00b using IE )
  • Ctrl+U (thanks Setz)

Like most if not all forms of DRM, it doesn't work and is simply annoying.

Also, you know the developer is an idiot when they make a page that breaks the Back button. I'm not sure how they do it (I'm guessing Javascript redirects on load), but you click the button and it just goes back to the page again. Or one case I saw, you click it but somehow the previous page is replaced by the one you just came back from.

Or when they use DRM, in particular shitty forms like disabling right-click. But the decision to use DRM generally isn't the programmer's...

Yeah, that's the idea but at least at 1280x1024 it still isn't as big as some of them.

Guess I could drop that quote though.

Doesn't sound much like the original, and has some occasional pops and squeals, but I recognize it. I don't know if it has a name, but it's used (among other places) when the Shysters take over.

I always wanted SMRPG music in an SMW hack, but I'd want it to sound identical. Even if that means copying the entire engine and using SMRPG's sound effects and hacking all the music code. It's worth it.

Some comics are actually, y'know... what mature people WANT them to be
Woah, careful with those assumptions.

Faulty stick, two different speeds, or not enough power to run both would be my guesses.

I'm not sure whether to go "wtf?" (like Alastor) or "roflmao" (like setz/fails)...

Someone probably heard an earlier broadcast on another station and wrote about it.

I should probably go back and find the date I first registered too, but the earliest archive I can find has me doing so in October of '02, mentioning that my account had disappeared (not realizing it was a whole new board ).

I like auto if only because it removes one more "simultaneous process" from my already overworked mind while driving.

(No, idiot, I can't tell if you're going to turn in half a second, use your fucking blinker)
Yeah, they're easier, plain and simple. Driving can be difficult enough without having to shift manually.

Eh, kinda sounds NESish. :-/ Also a much more tropical feel to it than the original.

Can the instrument samples not be ported?

It's shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and having seen a few shops in my time.

Anyway, it's not a ROM hack but...

Some of these things need to be moved though.

I have no problem reading it on the Fish theme, but in Xk's shot, it blends badly with the background.

Yeah, I try to make my code as readable as possible, because any time I don't, I end up coming back to it and wondering how the hell it was supposed to work.
