Posted by joeYes, there is definitely use for this for disabled people, as mentioned in the article. I had to have the nurses operate the TV controls by calling them by pressing a button with my foot, and it could take them up to 45 minutes to arrive, since there were so few of them and they had more important things to do.Posted by BooUrnsYou know, if you're in a hospital and physically unable to press a button, you're probably really bored. I'm sure HyperHacker feels the same way about this. On the other hand, if you are physically able to press a button, why should you wear a heavy helmet when you use much less energy just pushing the button? Xk, I like the idea, but I'd hate to be the guy selling them. "Dur, I want a refund! It always says zero!" |

Surely there must be some that works. Nero is utter shit (yeah, this single-layer disc is really dual-layer, and the disc drives in 2 different machines both died at the same time, we need an eye-rolling smilie), XP's built-in burner won't burn DVDs, and the few programs on Sourcefourge only burn ISOs. |

Posted by SkreenyAt least in the originals, that just crashed the game, because you were outside the map. |

While you're at it, how about a rule against having an obnoxiously fucking huge sig? >:
And fix >:? |

Preview doesn't work at all for me. Either nothing happens or I get the same image with less coins. |

Unicode. You should see some of the smilies the Japanese use.
Also, with animé smilies, you can do fun things like v¯v and <_>. FTW! |

Those are the two that I consider obnoxiously huge. The rest range from huge to pretty damn big. I debated whether to even mention Katelyn's, actually now that her avatar shows up again and makes the left side bigger it doesn't seem bad at all. |

Yeah, it's working now. Yesterday it wasn't doing anything. |

So yesterday I finally got around to playing Zelda again, which I haven't in ages... I got to where you have to fight a monster on horseback on a castle wall, and in the cutscene after I beat him I noticed these artifacts on the screen. At first I thought it was a crappy rain effect, but even afterward I could still see it, and it actually got quite a bit worse. They show up every time I play the game now. Excite Truck didn't appear to have them, but the music sometimes stutters, even MP3s (so it's not a disc problem), which didn't happen before. Has anyone else seen these?
Crappy pics of the artifacts. They're very noticeable when you look at a wall. They're mostly on the left, and don't move with the camera. |

Vyper, that doesn't sound stupid, just unlucky. Stitches, though? I had staples. (BTW, having them removed is mostly painless, but some will get stuck and holy shit that hurts to get out. ) |

When you say it turns off, you mean it goes back to yellow or red light or dies completely? |

Yeah, it is hot in my room, but I wouldn't think it's hot enough to cause a problem. The system didn't feel unusually warm, and it starts as soon as the game loads (past all the menus and such once I'm actually in the game) even after sitting overnight. I've had it since about February. I'll have to call Nintendo tomorrow (hm, I could have sworn that line used to be 24 hours ) and see what they have to say. I'm reeeeally hoping it's a combination bug in the game and shitty new SD card. :-/ |

It's probably the adapter then, or your fusebox. You could check it with a multimeter to make sure it's putting out the right amount, and/or try it in another room. |

They're single-layer DVD+RW, but it occasionally thinks they're dual-layer. I've managed to get it working with a few tricks (full-erase at minimum speed after any failure, burn at 2x, etc) but it still randomly fails (moreso on one machine, with errors like "power calibration error" and "sector read failure"), and is still just crappy software in general. I'd love to know of an alternative for next time, or a program to create .isos to burn with one of the many available programs. |

That doesn't rule it out. Sometimes half an outlet works while the other half doesn't. You may also be overloading the circuit, causing brownouts, or there may be noise or spikes that the other devices aren't freaking out over but are enough to trigger a protection circuit in the Wii. (N64 at least had a very sensitive protection circuit, that would kill the system for ~45 minutes if you e.g. shorted the controller power lines.) |

Wow, the author managed to find a worse file host than Rapidshare (namely, Depositfiles). I didn't think it was possible to have so many ads on one site. |
