A decent RAM search is available (Renegade64 ftw), but I'm not getting any results. I'll look for those BC commands, thanks. Do you know if/why the 4th byte is always 06?

Luigi's Mansion- As good as it lasted, it wasn't as exciting as they make it sound. I beat it early, even the last boss with the Hidden Mansion was easy.
Luigi's Mansion was a tech demo.

I'm reminded of the movie The Number 23. Spooky, when I watched it, it finished at 11:23 PM (as in, 23:23). Pretty good movie, but some of the logic was a bit of a stretch. It's like OMG, my birthday is 7/10 and 7+10=17 and my name in Japanese is 3 letters and in Unicode that makes 6 bytes and 17+6=23!!!1!one

Ah, like the Swedish pantsystem.

Which gives a good excuse to recycle the bottles you have lying around. <<
Heh, before I had a job, returning empty beer bottles was my main source of income. 10-15 bucks for a shopping cart full. I'd just take the cart home from the store next to it (they didn't care), load it up, and bring it back. The store was literally a 2-minute walk from home.

My dad got me up at 7AM today to go for a 9-hour drive, but we had to spend 2 hours finding the car keys first. Turns out they were right where they should have been, but we'd overlooked them because they didn't have the big fancy decorative thing attached.

My dreams are usually random nonsense, but I may have realistic ones about things that are bugging me. After I broke my arms I was trying to contact someone, and nothing was working - I couldn't use an IM program and they weren't answering their phone. I dreamt one night that they called and I leapt out of bed and answered it and said what I wanted to say, etc. It was so realistic that when I woke up later, I was sure it had really happened, until I realized there was no way I could have leapt out of bed nor grabbed the phone in my condition.

...Then I remembered that halfway through the conversation, the neighbour's garage exploded. Obviously not real, especially since nothing outside (I watched out the window) looked like it really does.

The next step is obviously introducing a civilian grenade version to be set off nearby concentrations of women. Obviously.

Also, the military looks at crazy-ass projects all the time, so I'm not that surprised.
My thoughts exactly.

Sure, people would still be a bit confused, but at least they'd know it isn't Acmlm's board.
True. Either ||Board or nobodysboard. Take your pick or add your own.
Last I heard, they were convinced it was Acmlm's Board. Is it possible to get shell shock from a flame war?

Also. Lack of wallpaper is due to none that god damn fit.
So toss a few different images together in Photoshop, or find/make something that tiles well.

Please pardon my poor English.

I am a member of a japanese SMW hacking forum.
All members of our forum wish to express our gratitude for mikeyk.

This comment is about japanese sprites.

Four people made these sprites.
One is the auther of starsw.zip.
He wants to remove this archive file from sprite tool, because he will update frequently.

Another one made chain chomp, revserse spiny, YI penguin, homing bullet, and ptooie.
He said that all rights of his works were abandoned. Therefore, modification and redistribution are free.

Another made the graphic of bokoboko and aramaki.
He also allow who doesn't pretend making by oneself, to modify and redistribute.

The last one made the sources of bokoboko and aramaki.
He has not shown in our forum.

The guy who made starsw.zip wants it not included with Sprite Tool because he plans to update it often. I see no mention of not wanting anyone else to use it.
Chain Chomp, Reverse Spiny, YI Penguin, Homing Bullet, and Ptooie are free to modify and redistribute.
Bokoboko and Aramaki, as best I can understand: you're free to modify and redistribute the graphics as long as you don't claim you made them. The guy who wrote the code hasn't yet commented.

Nowhere here does anyone say we can't use them. That was said earlier, before the authors had given permission.

Dragon Lake shows off a few of Yoshi's special powers, like walking on Munchers and colored shells (oops, I just cremated them ) And I'm gonna change the palettes and/or GFX by the time I get the demo out.
I like to design hacks such that they could be enjoyed by someone who hasn't played the original. In this case, a newbie might not know the red shell is fireballs, and would end up making this same mistake, thus not being able to try out the next two. I'd put the red shell last, or give each one its own little test area.

BTW, this manner of thinking is doubly important when making major changes (see DahrkDaiz's SMB3 work), where even those who did play the original won't know WTF to do.

Heh, being able to post on Japanese forums is one thing I use to inspire myself to actually learn Japanese.

I see it the same way HH sees it: use them freely. Though we have to wait for mikeyk to re-add them to the spritetool archive.
Not quite freely: wait for permission from the authors before using Bokoboko and Aramaki, but feel free to use their graphics, and don't pretend you made any of them.

BTW, couldn't someone who did get them just post them separately? Or couldn't you get them from the original forum?

A toolbar "appearing magically" is almost certainly a sign of malware. It may not be the real Google Toolbar.

Aw cmon, it's not an Acmlmboard without layouts. You can just turn them off if you want plain text.

But anyway, yay, sigs!
