Right now I'm making a rom hack of Mega Man 2 called: Proto Man - Revenge of Dr. Wily.

I used the Rockman 2 editor made by Rock5easily, the Mega Man 2 SRAM hack by RetroRain, and the Proto Man patch made by Riffman81.

The screenshots look really good, but the thing about the Quick Beams worries me, since usually when rom hacks have quick beams they're really annoying.

Thanks for the reply! So, last night I messed with the boss doors a bit and went to sleep. When I got back from school and went to take screenshots, I discovered I made the boss doors work! That was the only thing that stopped me from working on Air Man's stage, so I'll start working on that.

Edit: In Air Man's stage, when I delete the Air Tikis they still take up the same area.
So, Air Man's stage will have to wait.

Isn't that because the tiles behind them are still Air Tiki shaped blue areas or something like that?


Er, yes, that is correct. I've started working on Wood Man's stage, sadly working with the tree tiles is so tedious I may just leave them out. That sucks, because I spent so much time changing them.

Singe Man! His weapon is the Singe Stab, it's a close ranged weapon which is thee thing cowboys used to use to mark cattle. His main body is a flame (very creative /sarcasm), he wears a cow boy hat and has cowboy boots and traditional arms and legs (A very basic design).

The game will be a hack of megaman 5 most likely. The title I have not yet come up with, any suggestions?


Since both robot masters have a design based off a specific place in the world, perhaps Megaman: World Adventure?

So for my Megaman 2 hack, I want to increase the speed the health bar fills when you pick up energy, but I can't find a tutorial on how to. Does anybody know how?
