I'm code logging the whole game now for Dragon Warrior 2 and dissemble it when I complete the game. I can do music stuff for other Dragon Warrior games for NES when I have a chance to do it. 10/15/2015 Here's one for Dragon Warrior I in the ROM file:

Thanks! I'm starting to understand this very well a little with a little help from Famitracker with NSF Importer. I'm working on a scary boss music track from the game as well and it's sounds pretty cool. |

Monster Party Music Hacking Notes

I'm testing out the effect list to see what it does but the notes are complete. The notes is based off of famitrcker and the hex values are based off the game. Thanks to CAPCOM1990 sound engine and Mega Man 3-6 music hacking guide. Someone who understand music might know what it does. |

Posted by JRIVA It's only an example on how to make music from scratch by looking at the hex editor like I did for this here. Doing this in ca65, it will save you alot of time without have to manualy change the location. You can mess around with it but be careful with the hi and lo byte commands. It is possible to add a create your onw effect list. |

That looks cool! Looks much easier than doing this in hex and manually doing it in ASM.
Edit 1: Thanks! I was currently trying to put Revenge of Shinobi music from SEGA genesis to Mega Man 3. The only problem that I was having was the loop part but this might come in handy instead of doing this in ASM. |
