Yes, i do understand people are probably going to think is a bit more difficult than it should be, I am fully aware.

And i'll just make it clear that this is supposed to be one of the most difficult of the 8 robot master themes. One that is best left until last, like collecitng heart tanks from other levels first, and THEN coming back to it later.

But sadly well only duplex and bolt are even finished. So i realize there's not much to do about it, ...yet. I hope people wont totally feel like it's all un-fair for these reasons.

And thanks mick, yea i think it is nice to have a different style of gameplay for once at least, about the space travelling level as opposed to the normal regular type of playing or however it would be called.

Yea, i wouldn't expect people to just get through anything their first time through. So far reaction is more negative than it is positive on the space level. I'm feeling a little bad about it.. I dont mean from here specifically, but like the rom-hacking IRC room rather

i deleted 2 of the purple eye's ..but really it just takes some time to get used to, i wouldn't wanna make people think it's un-fair...i did not intend on purpose for this whole level just to be played on purpose handi-capped for being the hardest of the 8 without getting to collect heart tanks from other stages and stuff first.

And i haven't seen mm10 yet and am trying my hardest to stay away from spoilers and info because i only got a xbox 360 and it dont come out for that until march 31.

Sorry, yea i am proud, the fact that it took like a year just to do this theme literally. I am happy how things turned out in the end.

All these enemie's AI actions are coded from scratch and from my own imagination, while mm-omega did the graphic-design of it all.

So that's why i now am in the search to find people to help out for reals now so that these levels can be made like possible a few months at a time isntead of a year for each one.

well, i imagined duplex to be the smartest, the most clever, the most intelligent, and hardest compared to any other guys, it took me like 8 months just to even code his AI alone, NOT including the levels.

no real strength or attack whatsoever, just speed, defense, and intelligence (the reason why he makes copies of himself in almost a dozen different ways)

That's great thantas. good job.

Hope you didn't have the rom with the little challenge glitch from the 1st or 2nd upload attempt

i uploaded it a total of 3 times last night as fast as i possibly could to fix some bad glitches that happened where you get a challenge complete .. followed by the time attack script opening saying you beat the level in 0 minutes, 0 seconds.

I want to say to people, i deleted 2 purple eye's from the eyeball section in the space level, and half of all the tiny "small" asteroids for the last section of the diagnoal scrolling part.

I also made the wind in the outter bolt tower no longer random anymore. it's now pre-determined so you can know what direction the wind blows next for now on, im sorry i did not ever think to consider doing anything about that when i was only focused on duplex for these past 13 months.

Go there. This little tool called Lunar IPS

And you need a un-modified clean megaman 3 rom (hope you looked at the readme)

Follow the instructions when clicking the "apply IPS patch" button on that little program. Says you need to open the .ips file, then double click the un-modified mm 3 rom

Thank you for the comments keyia, everything you guys say, everyone's support will mean very very much to me.

Well i fixed the blowing wind issue last night so it is NOT random anymore.

There was also a big problem demonstrated in bluestar899's youtube video of the space station stage where the special ending wouldn't ever trigger properly (it was supposed to happen when he beat duplex, but it didn't)

I just fixed that just an hour ago. ..it's too late for me to re-upload with over 250 downloads already. i feel real bad that i didn't FULLY check the coding of this little special event before i released this to the public. You can see it if you beat duplex after his conversation with megaman..if you die..it wont happen unless you get a game over and do the conversation again.

**WARNING** do not watch bluestar's video on the space station if you dont want to be spoiled reguarding the heart tank

Also i need to know exactly where in the stage your issue was that you explain. everything should all work just fine 100% ... you can eventually get stuck near the end until you find out exactly what your supposed to really do.

I do not want to reveal the answers to everyone

And yes i do need all the help i can possibly get from people to continue this hack ... i wanna start on necro man very very extremely soon. I DONTwant this to take another 6 months or so.

Me and megaman-omega know what kind of levels it'll be.
He thought of what the 1st level theme half will be, while i know what i want the 2nd level half to be based on, for necro man

Going to start on necro man very soon.

**graphic design for 2nd level:
Speedremix/nebula black hopefully, dont know how much he'll do, i was hoping at least half of it would be based on a graveyard,

** level design:
Minyel, i dont know what kind of secrets or hidden stuff there should be for the 2nd official half. But if anyone out there has any suggestions, feel free to say something cause i dont have any idea what to do exactly. That's why ideas is one of my WEAK points.
So this might not even have branched paths at all then.

** enemies:
megaman-omega, and the 1st level. There would be some types of enemies like a ghost, zombie or skeleton or stuff like that.

100% Coding:
just me alone since that's really all i can do more compared to anything.

really truly hope to move this game forward more. i haven't done a thing since the demo cause nothing's been done or made yet.
Just fix problems, delete a few things from the space shooting level, stuff like that.

well, supposed to be mainly all about a dark, haunted, spooky feeling and theme.
The 1st level may be about an abandonded city that no one lives in, the 2nd level should be like at least half of it about a haunted graveyard.

I cant ever for the life of me think of what kind of secrets of items or anything there should be other than a heart tank, W-Tank, and eddie 1 time. Im pretty bad at trying to think of this stuff.

Well, nobody ever bothered to answer on 2ch,
nobody ever bothered to answer on rockman PM forums...i'll just try here.

I just only wanted to know what any of you guys think about the space station level (the 2nd official half of duplex) .. is it alright ?
I hope people would appreciate more about this level than just only playing it. Like the whole concept of it being a maze and having to interact with with a computer system.

The graphics, and escpecially the scene for duplex man's room. and duplex's AI behavior that took over 7 months to code alone. Only have know what ryudo and thantas-zero think.

I seriously wanted to know what people think about that besides just the space shooting level only.

what about the story talking ?? The intro with dr light and mm, and duplex and mm's conversation ... is it okay ?? This demo was held-back for over a month just because of trying to think of the talking stuff..

Thanks glad you liked the scene for duplex's room. That huuuuuge graphic of earth alone that megaman-omega came up with took up the whole entire BG nes pallete (12 or 13 colors) .. and almost 1 whole entire 256 tile page,

i BARELY managed to even get it in at all because the whole space station level data was already like 95% in use before putting it in, so i had to go all out by transferring part of the space station tileset to a whole entirly different level ID ...just to have that very special background to go along with duplex's plan of crashing the station into earth as he mentioned in the storyline conversation.

The earth being there is the whole entire reason for this space station level in the first place. hehe
Glad you liked it rushjet, that's at least a comment i was hoping for.

That's why i was so eager to wanna know what people would have thought about these things.. not just ONLY "playing the game"

Well i would want more songs for this game since there's extremely little, i just have a very terrible time trying to decide on what kinds of songs i would like even though people have already fed me many suggestions and i haven't considered anything A+ yet for the upcoming Necro man in terms of songs.

I looked at your zip file, i recognize all those songs. From your ultimate 15 minute long NSF/mp3 of a whole complete set of game songs all made into 1 single whole song. I loved it very much. But i dont know if any of these i would think about taking though. And of course if i did, i would credit you obviously for sure out of respect. As i do with everyone on anything that i "cant" do like graphics, music, level design and such

Yea i cant do music, since im not a music composer.

ONLY if something is in the fami-tracker format, then i might possibly maybe be able to convert it to the capcom mm3-6 music format myself ..but very low possibility of me being able to do so on my own unless i was to ask matrixz again ..

Hey guys, i dont know how much longer i can keep up this rom hack in my life.

I dont know truly if i will ever be able to complete it. it's been 4 years, and only 2 levels are done. I feel like i've wasted so much time trying to make this too complicated ...too much... trying to make the best enjoyable megaman hack of all time but..i just dont know now truthfully.

I think my left ear is going bad and it's making me super hard to concentrate on doing anything, or watching my favorite tv shows and stuff. I have a constant faint ringing noise going on nonstop forever it seems... in my left ear ..i can hear fine in the ear, but this ringing always seems to go "over it" all the time. It just started recently in the past few days.

I guess this one one of my life-threatning punishements for trying to put my life on the line just over this 1 little single game.

Im NOT quitting this project...i want to go as far as i can ..but i feel like i've failed in a sense for taking 4 years...and only having 2 levels done.

I should have searched for people to help out long long long ago.

So bottom line is, i just dont know anymore if i can make it...but i'll keep trying even if it means i go deaf or something i hope people wont hate me for that or anything

chances of this hack ever seeing the light of day are dropping, serious

If worse comes to worse, then im going to seriously consider giving up this hack to anyone out there in the public to take over. all my documents, notes, the custom MegaFLE level editor, as much as possible ..for someone to take over

would anybody be willing to help out with graphics for the necro man graveyard ? i still need a start on this theme very badly and nobody on rockman PM will ever post about wanting to help out with .. i get next-to-zero attention on there reguarding help.

a level map is planned out a bit, but no graphics, it'll be only 2 main types of sections, a very dark-theme haunted graveyard scene outside above ground, then the rest under-ground like below all the tombstones and that sort of stuff.

i dont want this level taking many months to complete ..otherwise im afraid i feel like this game is just going to seriously be dead sooner or later. i truly wish i were a graphic artist and music and stuff myself, so i would never ever beg any you guys, i dont mean to seriously on purpose...i just wanna get this game moving along for reals and i cant do it alone

well i looked at that person's deviant art site you linked to, but it looks like that person hasn't even logged in since 2008 or december 2009 .. because his latest journal first, is dated from sometime 2008 .. and he hasn't gotten a comment since 2009.

Looks like he's not even around at all anyway. Well that's the imrpession im getting sadly.

I pretty much have given up on the sprites inc forum, i hardly even look there anymore literally. Gets the least attention .. nobody on rockman PM has ever offered to help with anything specifically for reals, haven't ever heard from the kawasaki guy or whatever his name was, speedremix said he might have but then he gave up too...just like everyone else..goddd
Im about to give up on rockman PM forum as well ..this is the only single place left that people even actually reply to..

truthfully honest to god, im starting to get tired of even trying to find people since so many always end up saying they'll help but turn out never wanting to secretly in the end, to the point where im just not bothering to even touch this game at all for several days in a row sometimes every now and then
