Nice I think I'll use Megaman: world tour mainly because I have my own robot master called Snow woman who is from Russia. Also other robot masters will come from other places. |

I recently got the idea of making an update to the Pirated game Somari for the NES. I have been very busy with school work at the moment so before I do any more work I want you all's opinion on the hack. I have changed some graphics on the title screen to make Somari's arms no longer bare:
ORIGINAL REMASTERED I also altered the palette for Somari's actual sprite. Best of all I altered the controls and the engine. I have included a demo here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/a069qdr92e91980/Somari+Remastered.ips Be sure to patch the ROM: Somari (Unl).nes Feel free to leave feedback ENJOY |

Ok so I have been very busy with school and now that it is over I have continued my ROM hacking. For one of my hacks I need to know how to insert music onto the title screen. Not custom music but just to put a song on it in general. |

Ok so right now I am hacking SMB3 and I am making a lot of progress but unfortunately I have no clue how to edit backgrounds. The first world is wario's woods so I want to make it look like the woods. I open up SMB3 workshop and go to edit:
Then I open what I assume is a background asset editor known as "Edit object Defs." I have drawn some leaves for the bottom of a tree: I want the hills too look like this: But they just end up looking like this: If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE let me know. |

Ok so my current hack is a hack of SMB 3. In said hack I have edited a lot of graphics but I need to add in a new block with it's own tiles. I know it will probably require some ASM but I am willing to put up with it. |

This is a Hack that just started as a stupid Idea I had last week but now I'm wondering if it would be kool as a actual hack. As the thread title suggests it's a hack of Jurassic boy 2, a bootleg game that is a rip off of Sonic The Hedgehog. All this hack does is changes Chen's sprite to Sonic's. I want to know if I should do anything else with this current hack so let me know. PS: I know the title screen isn't changed yet I still have to do that.
You can get it here : http://www.mediafire.com/download/ja82uh80u1pna0k/Sonic+The+Hedgehog+NES.ips Here are some Screenies: Please let me know what you guys think! |
