I'd just like to point out that none of us, NONE of us have ever gone on to become an actual 4chan meme.

And while yes, the current /b/ is made of fail and aids, and yes, the forces of Gaia and Myspace fill it with lose and suck, it should still be duly noted that beyond the simple modesty of our lowly board, one man has risen above it all to make himself known, make himself famous, make himself a celebrity to all who still lurk moar in the halls of /b/, where longcat is not whitecat and grinman's true name is Richard (not Robert) C. Mongler, where Epic Fail Guy was the last true fail and where sage was pronounced Sah Gay and actually meant something.

Where Duckroll was around long before Rick Astley's face saw the internets, and where underage truly = B&.

Where nigras ran free, and Bel-air was actually fukken sav'd.

Where copypasta was as delicious as flat chest.

Where motivational posters were actually funny and witty and not just plugs for shitfad#1.

Where YOU LAUGH YOU LOSE meant you'd actually be a failure at decency if your sense of humor was tickled by a cat being shoved in the microwave.

So you see, Acmlm's, for this raid please do not blame MetalMan88, for "It's Stupid" truly is a valiant attempt by /b/ to bring back that which was lulz and save it from raids, from aids, and to make the strength of /b/ as rigid and impressive as Zimmer's massively mighty mysoginistic meat totem.

Simply stated, if acmlm no longer wants acmlm's board to exist, then it needs to go; but I find it perfectly acceptable for Blackhole to start a board as a successor of sorts.

Honestly, when the shit hit the fan last night...you know what I did?

Hit the power button on my monitor and watched Yuu Yuu Hakusho last night. Got the whole box set of it that just came in for my 23rd birthday. Not a bad catch at just over 100 bucks US and it was well worth my time.

Why am I bringing that up? Simple. I had spent my time better watching cartoons than dealing with this board or any other forum's lame ass. That said, I, in no way, approve of the crap that went down last night especially after a certain leader told us that there weren't supposed to be any crap of ANY kind to be displayed TO forums or AT forums about this particular board.

Now isn't that something, he goes and freaking lies to everyone's face and makes a community look freaking ridiculous when he could've just as easily continue to revel in the fact that this place is making itself look vomitrocious day-by-day thanks to inadequate leadership shown by so many staffers and to the damnedest fact that no one seems to give a rat's ass if this place were alive or if it was flushed down the toilet.

One of the better things that came out of that mess for the longest time is that truth finally came to light. This place needs death. So be it if Ace no longer wants this place. He said it himself. Hate to break it but the man's word is of God.

Now that doesn't mean you need to go through and delete the forum and that's it. Rather you should take any mention of his name, as people have already suggested, and strip it of this place and get your own style going and actually RUN IT. That or you need to up and deep six the forum as it was and take the crap that comes from it. If merging the board with ||board is an option...FUCKING go with it. There are so many people that would be overly anxious to take this place up and run it, regardless of what (mostly JU) influence this forum has against the concept. I honestly think a merge would be the best potential this place has left and I'm not bullshitting. If you had even a decent week's work towards something like that I would whole-fucking-heartedly guarantee that the performance of this community would 180. Whether in a good or bad direction...I couldn't tell you. That's up to maturity...and I actually have faith that it would be in the good way, to be brutally honest.

So it's rather ironic. I hated the fact that our end was made a complete and utter idiot out of something as FUCKING ridiculous as what happened last night but I absolutely applaud the fact that this forum had met its end, even briefly, last night. Why? Because when I work 10 hours a day, M-F, and I come home to this bullshit I don't really care to answer to it anymore these days. To have that taken out of my life was a breath of fresh air. That said, if things don't change real fast, I may as well up and resign...I may just do it flat out coming up here really soon actually because this is old. We should've been over this crap next to two months ago.
