I'll look this up on Jasp's Some Usual Day, where I got the Boomboom idea from.

It seems like (s)he changed his height through ASM which is what I was afraid of.
I'm way too new with ASM programming to figure out what the hell I'm looking at or looking for

It's technically not garbled. What you're looking at is essentially raw PPU data. It'll look similar on an emulator if you look up the PPU viewer. The code sorts it all out, as well as using the "appropriate" colors.

BTW, your English is fine; you just need to add a space after each punctuation mark.

I think the Mega Man games use a specialized sound chip. It might explain why the sound's garbled. Don't quote me on that.

Kinda like it with garbled sound, though.

The problem you're having is that graphic editors tend to assume that graphics are aligned on 16-byte boundaries (e.g. tiles start at $9210, $9220, $9230, etc), but for many games this isn't necessarily true. The graphics you're looking at are off by 2 bytes ($9212, $9222, $9232, etc). You need to use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the view.

Are you out of your mind? I extracted their data a long time ago. Maybe the Koopalings but also part of Boom Boom's AI data. I guess some games had them reprogrammed.

There could be something that loads his voice. If you could find the location of Mario's voice, you might be able to edit it using standard audio editing software; or you could even give him a new voice altogether.

So is N64 Sound Tool, but it doesn't have as many features and isn't open source. Not sure if it'll be easier to rip sound banks, though.

Hey guys. While pondering about adding music into my Mega Man 3 hack, I saw that some user on a fan site for a Mega Man band had made a mod that played MP3's during Mega Man 3's levels.

I've never heard of anything like this, and since all of the links to it are down, I'll never be able to take advantage of it. Does anyone know something like this? BTW he said that the emulator was VirtuaNES, are their any mods for this emulator that plays MP3's that I'm not aware of?
