Took me awhile to finally catch up from where I last read your comic, to the current... now that I have, must say this comic is getting alot more interesting to read.

Well... some of you may remember my first hack I made "Super Mario Universe" which was a hack with various game and anime references within/hidden throughout (which according to several people it's glitched, others not glitched; sorry can't do anything 'bout it since my original no longer exists).

SMU2 is the final installment for the two-part series. Now, there used to be "The Millenium Project", but that peice of crap got corrupted during a PC wipe four years ago so I started from scratch (put it off for the next three years) and now has finally finished it.

But before I go off the handle like this... just click the link below for your eye candy and hack download.

http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=showhack&id=247

... Finally, after four long friggin' years I am finally done with this... it shall be a long while before I get back to SMW hacking again... Got any questions, bug me when I feel like getting bugged online.

Damn, problems already? I thought I had made this hack bug-free?

Shit, I had fixed every possible problem and/or glitch that showed itself. I had fixed that one problem your speaking of Phoenix when Rebecca beta-tested this game herself.

I really do not know why that keeps happening because it works perfectly for me. If there's any other bugs that seem to show up that I haven't caught yet just dive into Lunar Magic and take care of it since my hacks are never locked up...

I hate it when people nitpick but its your words, not mine. Let's see...

First, only some of then came from "The Millenium Project" which was supposed to come after the original SMU, but after a PC wipe the file I had saved was corrupted, the half finished game so my latest demo of it I just shoved the good levels from that project to "The Adventure Continues" which was renamed from "The Gates of Chaos".

Now for the "flashing" bits; it must be a glitch because my original doesn't do any of that, including the small garbage after Castle 1 is destroyed. Booster Forest's cavern wall is supposed to be like that since it's an MMXtream GFX I hand ripped. Any other "glitches" that some of you will point out to me is because in SMW the maps always use the same GFX... which according to myself that is what I think.

Thank you asdf for pointing out that small little part there, it's supposed to be a solid edge... same with half pipe piranha since it's supposed to be from the yellow pipe... for the others you pointed out; sue me, I'm just doing what I like when I feel like making an enjoyable game that people will like to play.

As for the others, glad it's an enjoyable hack to play. Switch Palaces do exist... atleats not til you get further to the game. Icegoom, Tweaker doesn't work shit for me no matter what I do. Also, it's supposed to originaly have more custom blocks in the game but Blktool gives me the same damn problems as Tweaker so I thought "fuck it, get it done and over with after four years".

The only "FEASBLE" glitch there was is apparently the one Phoenix pointed out; the Altar Path 6 works well, set up appropiately to move right when its beaten to the final castle before the Altar Entrance, does work but it appears to be a random glitch since it works well in mine.

As I said before, my hacks are never locked so if you want to people, dive in via Lunar Magic and fix them up yourselves. If you're going to "borrow" some of my hand-ripped GFX like Olive Ocean's FG, (J) Super Mario Land 4's GFX (before I knew "V" ripped up those graphics), and Candy Constellation's GFX, remember to credit me for those, including GFX from Metroid Zero Mission, MMXtream, and other misc. Kirby styled GFX and custom pipe set (of course I plan to make those mentioned accessible to the general public on SMWCentral).

I may plan to do SMUIII, but it's going to be a separate plot as from the first two games and I may require help from those that excel with hex and custom block inserting and whatnot (I'm barely learning hex editing myself).

... Okay, today was boring, and I just started on this. Right now it only has the SMB3 scrollable pipes. For now, the only screen you'll see so far of the main map: The West Key Islands (still a working progress, Layer 1 and Sprites disabled).

I'm also possibly looking for anybody who would like to help me with this. I'm not much great with putting custom blocks and not good with hex (Blktool, Tweaker, Mario World Configuator doesn't work shit for me ; Blktool gives me an error once its downloaded and unzipped to my SMW related folder, Tweaker just closes automatically once I open the file, and ditto the same problem with MWC). Any questions just PM me.

Well.... Becky and I are handling the level designs and OW. I really need help basically with ASM work... hex and inputting some Custom Blocks into the game.

The SMB3 scrollable pipes are with the patch on SMWCentral. What I am really hoping to put in are the Teleport Block, Hurt Block, SMB3 Block,, Frozen Coin/Muncher Block, and Frozen Block...

Well I tested it with Fire Mario and Cape Mario. There doesn't seem to be any glitches there. The patch was based off the Pipes Patch from SMWCentral (Luigi-san's patch -- yes he's in the credits).

Yeah, as I said the maps are still working progress.

Pipe on [?]'s, one minimal design from "The Lost Levels" on SMAS (to lazy to look back which level it is).

The bats from icegoom's SMWRedrawn never touched the ceiling as well so?

Pallete bar error? So Mario's name and the star icon is in a blue shade, atleast it isn't horribly fucked up and unreadable.

As I said before, Blktool doesn't work shit for me no matter what I did so I said "Fuck it, get it doen and over with after four years." If it did worked I would of had movement blocks for waterfalls in the game (or for that matter OTHER typs of Custom Blocks).

I designed that part in the Dark Castle level that way with perfect timed jumps.

I am not at liberaty to say...

Waterfall in that part has Priroity enabled but then again everyone knows priority enabled graphics do not work with layer 2 based levels.

Then don't bother showing any more of them.

Garbage only because ExGFX usualy isn't used for overworlds.

Nice catching that little A Coin problem though, now that I looked into it.

I'm not at liberty to say...

Torpedo Ted Generator: Well no one never bitched about design flaws when the game first became popular in the US and around other parts of the world.

Alien landscapes SHOULD look weird...

Repeat: Dive to Lunar Magic to fix em up, because I'm focusing more attention to the third installment because in my original, there isn't much graphical problems (cept the A Coin now that you made me notice it), trust me going through your nitpick pics (does that rhyme?) I'm looking through to find any problems myself and seeing less than minimal. Maybe its glitches you have. Glitches or no, I'm focusing all my attention to the third game of mine.

Oh, well.... that clears it up *edits credits file*

Well... *clears his throat* here's the sub-maps what they are so far. I just left the Layer 1 and Sprites enabled.

Hopefully you guys know which sub-map is which originally. Special World is a volcanic type area, and if you complain to me to "fix the slant", it's an OW slope just like SMUII's maps... I'm also going to do some bit of work so that the lava field has actual "lava" properties. Maybe if I "sacrifice" the waterfall tiles it could work... hmm...

Star World's map, if you all scroll back up to the top of the thread an look at the main OW map, that and the southwest corner of the main OW are "connected" in a sense. I should probably work with the Mountain map a bit more...

Edit: Crap I just noticed the cavern map with Castle #4... Need to fix that!

I like those maps. They're really neat to me. I don't mind the one that looks like the Forest of Illusion - forests ARE kinda... generic.

You mean the "Chuck-Chuck Mountain"? The Chuck-Chuck Mountains is dominated by mostly Chargin' Chucks.

Yeah, it's been updated long since. Becky told me to discard the Silent Forest, and go with mountains. Until I can get a working Blocktool that doesn't give me countless errors, open up normally, and then just plain fucks up and doesn't respond to me, I've been working with the tile events and such. Tweaker still isn't helping me... same with Mario World Reconfigurator.

Troublesome... the Tools that refuse to work for me are: BlockTool (latest avaliable version there is), Tweaker, Sprite Tool, MWR.

I really would need some help with custom blocks (SMB3 Brick, Frozen Muncher, Frozen Coin, Teleport Block), ASM involved with them, and installing custom sprites which would be the SMB3 styled Hammer Bros.

Yeah... has anyone else ever had this type of problem before? You mind your own business, doing... whatever it is that you do to pass time, and then all of a sudden the screen goes black, computer light (busy signal thing...) on the e-tower flashes red for twenty seconds before turning back on, everything you were working on lost.

This problem keeps persisting all the fucking time, and it is really pissing me off. I tried to do anything possible to stop it from occuring (virus scan with five different virus scanners, have three different firewalls working, delete trojan horse viruses I find, ect.), yet it happens. And I never know when it will happen. It always occures at random times; one point it's constant, other times it could be a week, or a month, to even a day in between, or a whole years. What the hell can I do to prevent this from ever happening again?

The first firewall is the Windows Firewall, the second is McAfee's Firewall, and the third is the Wireless Firewall; also McAfee.

You can tell what my first virus scanner is, the second is Stinger (Rebecca's virus scanner), third is Norton Anti Virus (recommended by my father...), fourth is AVG Anti-Virus, and the fifth is AOL's Virus Scanner (McAfee is the primary scanner I keep active, the others turned off unless I need them).

Trust me, it's not the firewall programs, or the PC settings. The system is not unstable, but still my unknow, problems keeps persisting.

Last month, I asked my Computer Electronics Instructor Red to come over to my home to check out the computer. He wasn't able to find anything wrong with it except deleting three trojan horse viri that were embedded in some files that were critical for the PCs health... I have checked through every file, last night when it occured on me at four in the morning, done everything I can to find this problem. I don't want to upgrade to Windows Vista because I heard that it has a load of problems and bugs in the programming...

And I don't feel like saving my shit (though I do have a complete backup of mine and Rebecca's files) and getting a new computer...

Well it happened to me again... CONSTANTLY TURNING OFF ON ME (squeezed my hand too tigghtly and shattered the glass I had in my hand; yes it's bandaged up)! I finally am able to get it to work again, and half my files is erased. My wife has Linux on her laptop so I don't feel like having it on BOTH computers.

HH, Windows Vista is a joke as well! That crap is the new upgrade from XP and Service Pack 2, and those whom gotten tge new upgrade either through store bought or online installation gotten a hell of alot of bugs.

The video driver isn't the problem, sound works fine though oddly my CD Drive ( E: ) now responds (for the past three years it stopped responding, but now it does). Red couldn't find anything wrong with it when he came over last month to do a complete check-thru.

The files that are now "gone" are my virus scanners (which means reinstallation T.T), half my files I have saved like my fanfiction, my Super Mario Universe III hack and its entire folder, my past hacks and other hacks made by other SMW fans... and countless other crap I have no time to list here...

Well fuck X (Xeon), you were right... it is a power supply problem I am having. I looked through the list you put up and went through it all. I don't have any faulty RAM, but it IS the fan. It's not running at its maximum speed which could be the problem fo rmy PC dying at random odd times.

I'm on Beck's laptop since I have the PC at Neo Computers downtown. My friend Zero was able to get his friend to give my PC a complete check and any faulty parts noticed he can replace. Of course, Zero's friend owes me for when he was running late and had to do his shift...

Well atleast it helps me well. Glad I made a complete emergency back-up just incase before I sent it off to Neo Computers for a PC Check-up.

Yeah, replace the power supply, and maybe get a higher-performance one this time.

It's going ot be awhile before I can get myself a new computer (and hand the old one to my asshole sister whom got my mom in trouble for not going to school; she's sixteen and STILL a freshman at West High).

All wages and payments either my mother gets from her work or Beck when she works at Radio Shack automatically gets drawn out of the bank accounts and sent to Intengrity Insurance... short story: drive Felicia to school, get into car wreck by other driver who did not see me at all, months later and a date at court and trip to hospital via heart attack, its my fault.

But yeah, I'll get me a high performance PC... and Windows Vista once those lazy bastards at Microsoft decode out all those bugs and hidden trojan viruses.

Hasn't changed much since January on my PC... desktop image is from an anime that we watched one time when our friends showed up from Indiana last Christmas. It's also the same mage on Becky's laptop, only she has a more cluttered desktop than on my computer, whereas mine is a bit more organized...
