umm, first of all, click the 2 "0F" and set them to different colors so you actually look at the graphics more clearly.

ya should be able to match-up who's who pretty easy...
i mean i just opened a mm3 rom, load fceux, turn off BG in fceux, so it only shows sprite layer...and i found topman's tiles in just 2 seconds

the light-blue circle for example is top man, red is shadowman, should be able to figure out the rest there.

...I think you misunderstood me...
I'm trying to find out which MegaMan eye graphic corresponds to which direction.

Okay, so someone was able to observe what is probably another MegaMan 3 bug:

I swear Wood Man Doc Robot is screwed up in the NES version of Mega Man 3, but not in Mega Man 2. In The Wily Wars, I was able to clear Wood Man Doc Robot on my second or third try. This was because the boss would release his leaf shield BEFORE the falling leaves come near the ground. Same for in Mega Man 2 NES. In Mega Man 3 NES, he would launch the leaf shield at the worst possible time because you risk getting hit by both the leaf shield and the falling leaves, with no room to get out of it. That's bullcrap no matter what game.

This might interest Kuja Killer

So...I assume there's still no progress in terms of music hacking in MM3?

Alright, I was able to change all the eye graphics for every direction except for looking directly down.
For some reasons, I can't seem to find that graphic anywhere anymore...
But I know I found it once before, because it already got edited once before
EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
EDIT2: Forgot to mention, there's a new invite link for my Discord server
Here it is: https://sonicretro.org/dc.php?id=n1uvir7wnf

Hello
I am using the Capcom Music Editor to exchange songs between the Megaman 3; 4; 5 and 6

I pass the song from one game to another, and then with patience I look for the right instruments, Up there, easy.

Ah, so you figured out what the instruments are in Mega Man 3?
If yes, please check your personal messages.

Currently in the process of making a disassembly of my own Mega Man 3 hack:

Though I have no idea where the RAM and ROM sections start and how large they are...whoops
Cannot find any info on that in the MM3 guides either, so...maybe anyone here knows the answer?

Okay, since nobody's responded, I'll bite.

While I still have no clue where the ROM and RAM sections begin/end, there is a Megaman 3 disassembly I found, so you can just check it out and see if it specifies the ROM/RAM addresses you need. I would help, but I have been somewhat busy, so yeah.

There's also the Data Crystal entry, which does have some info on the ROM/RAM maps, although it's less extensive and probably less useful. And I would say check kuja killer's docs, but it seems you already did, so yeah.

I'm unsure if this helps, but I tried.

Huh, I didn't know that MM3 disassembly existed! Thanks for the info, that actually changes everything!

I really hope kuja killer sees that post about the disassembly. Maybe he and Raidenthequick could collaborate to create a complete disassembly for Mega Man 3 Improvement!

That would be absolutely amazing as well as a giant step forward in terms of Mega Man 3 ROM hacking.

We would finally have a definitive disassembly to the definitive version of MM3, which only means that we can expect more extensive MM3 hacks from that point onward! :3

So...how do I make sure kuja killer sees that disassembly post?

So...nobody knows how I can ping kujakiller on this forum to get his attention? Because I feel like personal messages might be a bit too personal for something like making him aware of a disassembly...
