There's no way in hell ANY Windows-based emulator is going to run at anywhere near a playable speed on a computer that can't even run LoopyNES, unless you like playing slideshows.

I started leaving my computers on when one of them was having trouble cold-booting. Replacing the old PSU solved the problem, but by that time I was so spoiled by instant access to Windows that I couldn't stand turning them off anymore.
Besides, leaving the power on is supposed to be less stressful on the mechanical parts of a computer than frequent start/stop cycles (for example, it takes a lot more energy to spin a hard drive platter up to speed than it does to keep it spinning at that speed). ____________________ [citation needed] |

WHY are doctors still prescribing antibiotics for colds, which are clearly caused by VIRII? It's this kind of bone-headed crap that makes serious bacterial infections more resistant to drugs!

Gah, I f!@#$ HATE those compact fluorescent bulbs everyone has boners for now. They buzz and flicker, smell like burning plastic when they burn out (usually years before their claimed life expectancy), cost a fortune, and bathe the room in a putrid yellow light. I think they're also worse for the environment than ordinary bulbs, considering how many different materials go into their manufacture--there's actually a small printed circuit board inside each one, with a few capacitors and resistors and a small IC or two!
Give me a good ol' 60-watt "natural light" incandescent bulb any day... ____________________ [citation needed] |

I would use my nice 4.2 (aw yeah, two subwoofers) speaker setup more often, but my brother ALWAYS complains about the bass, and I'm rarely home when he's not. An "acceptable" bass level for him is like listening through a tin can, so the headphones reluctantly go on.
