Every computer I've owned was bought with a new monitor, so can't say I've broken any. I have one upstairs that's probably 5 years old or so; piece of shit, but still works and does the job well enough (considering it's merely a Win98SE machine anyhow.) ____________________ |

I only know what I had because my mother went earlier), so I basically just dealt with it. Isn't really that bad, just a lot of coughing and snot. ____________________ |

I only prefer emulation because it allows me more flexibility. If there's nothing on TV to turn on in the background, I can go extended desktop with my TV and play full-screen on the TV with messengers, irc, etc. on my laptop screen. However, if there's a game on ESPN I want to see while playing, or something, I want the TV freed up; if I was using a normal console I would have to make a choice. Also, there's nothing I can do on an older console that I can't do with the setup on my computer; even better, I've had wireless PC gamepads for a while now, something no console had for the longest time. ____________________ |

Duke sucks, has sucked all year. It was quite the pleasure watching them lose like they did, at least to a guy who bleeds Tar Heel blue like myself. I enjoy watching VCU, though; I watched Maynor's heroics in the CAA conference tournament before the NCAAs and came away impressed. This clutch performance just took that a step higher. ____________________ |

I'm surprised anyone who watched the Badgers play would pick them to go far in the tournament. Their offense was basically stagnant and it was clear that any team who could slow down Tucker and Kammron Taylor could beat them, which is why I actually eliminated them in second round. Tar Heels looked pretty strong against Mich. St., Hansborough had a breakout game, and yet USC also looked pretty good against Texas. Showdown, go!
Also, no double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16 for the first time in 12 years.  ____________________ |

Maybe if he wasn't connected to Obama (read the article, for the love of god) he wouldn't have been fired. His firm is supposed to be working with Obama's team and dealing with his image on the Internet; this video looks like blatant bashing of the opponent Clinton, and since this guy is connected to Obama, it's guilt by association. Pretty easy to see why the guy got canned, he made "the boss" look bad, whether he meant to or not. ____________________ |

I just bought FF: DoS for GBA the other day, cheap. I figured I would finally start and finish a game of FF II for once, but began playing the original instead. It is still a good way to waste time, at least. ____________________ |
