Does anybody know where I can find any hacking notes for Rockman 6 or Megaman VI? There are a lot of things I need to look up:

-Discharge sound of the charged shot (there are hacks where that sound is fixed)
-How to skip the transformation sequence when equipping Jet & Power Armours

And many other things. Thanks.

You also gave me the inspiration for another idea when I'm done with my MM2 CHR-ROM conversion. I'll put Megaman 1 and 2 on a single cartridge, and call it Megaman Origins!


I see a bunch of x-in-1 carts out there, but haven't seen a Mega Man Compilation from 1 to 6. Is that possible to make?

Just want to point out that Protoman has underwear on his running sprite LOL.
I would really want to fix that & also give his scarf the yellow color. SO I just discovered a way to fix the player sprite's mirroring issue in Megaman 3 for my Roll-chan 3 hack, thanks to Matrixz's notes found here.

Also doing Roll-chan 5 & Roll-chan 6 atm. Having trouble with Roll in POW & JET armor with Tango transforming to armor all that jazz. Need those colored green like Tango. I would like some help in locating where the offsets of the player palettes in Megaman 6 esp. weapons & Rush armor colors.

I posted the same thread in another place. Anyways I hope someone can relate to this,

I had Windows 7, and MegaFLE X and Capcom Sprite Assembler works perfectly. But my HD died and had to replace it, however I have all my files on an external HD. I recently got a new HD and got Windows 8 for its OS. Sadly, the fore mentioned utilities doesn't work anymore. I keep getting this message on BOTH utilities


Run-time error '339':

Component 'COMCT232.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid


Can anyone run these utilities using Windows 8? If so, how do you made them work?

Persona 3 Portable. I have played the original PS2 version and P3:FES (Journey AND Answer mode). This was a refreshing start to play after 5 years I think. Gonna 2nd playtrhu this on FeMC mode AND on Maniac mode! (on Hard mode atm)

I just noticed how Toad Man gets a damage effect sprite over his head whenever he damages Mega Man. Odd bug. Anyway to fix this minor bug?

Thanks to rock5easily that Toadman bug is solved

Now: I found a glitch in Megaman 3 where your final hit on Hardman while the ground is shaking will freeze the game... better not kill him when he does this. :/

Put the COMCT232.OCX in the System32 folder

Primary drive, usually Local Disk ( C: ) > Windows > System32

Then right-click the Megaflex app then Run as Administrator.

This is somewhat bothering me the whole time playing MM4. There's an existing, very minor graphics issue when Megaman slides in Drillman's room, MM seems to blend in the background.

In Capcom Sprite Assembler, does anybody know how to turn on/off the Paired with check box? Specifically, only Dustman's Sprite (Sprite Bank 1C010; Sprite 15) doesn't have a check in its checkbox.

I don't know if I posted this question here before... anyways

Does anybody know how to change the "released charged shot" in Mega Man 6? The sound the game makes is the same as shooting a normal shot. The sound should sound like the ones in MM4 and MM5.

The discharge sound used in Innocent and Skype have complimentary sound, better than the regular "pew" sound. That's what I'm aiming at if the discharge sound from 4 & 5 are not in the game.

@OP: What is this actually, is it a Megaman IV hack or or a Ghost n'Goblins hack?

And what kind of help are you asking? According to your first post, do you want a player sprite hack where you change Megaman to Arthur? Its pretty doable with CSA.

Oh, I forgot to mention that using Top Spin against Shadowman still has that energy draining glitch that the MM3 Improvement patch had fixed.
