Sup.
I havent been making any rom-hacks nor browsing these boards in years, sine I lost my interest in rom-hacking years ago(when I was working on adventures of lolo (gb) remix, and other AOL hack), TBH I was never good at anything(related to rom-hacking) so I just stopped. Plus Im in collage atm so I dont have that much free time as I used to have anyways. |

So, ~7 years ago I started to make my lolo hack, called Adventures of lolo gb remix, and now years after I finally got around to (almost) finish it:
Basically I remade levels from gb lolo to lolo3 since gb one is horribly slow, looks and sounds terrible. I had to leave out some early levels since gb lolo has total of 125 levels(+tutorials), and lolo3 has only ~101(+tutorials, minus non puzzle-rooms), but only early and some of tutorial levels that arent that important are missing. Version 1,0: (Click to download) Patch it to "Adventures of Lolo 3 (U) [!].nes" from goodnes 3.14 I've tested all levels multiple times so Im pretty sure they all are beatable, though lolo3 editor does have tedious glitch where it just doesnt save any edits after saving, but at last all levels upto 15-1 or 16-1 are fully tested. Any feedback, suggestion or whatever are welcome EDIT: New demo out, I moved from [b5] rom to [!] one, some minor changes but its about finished, it still needs some final touches but its 99% done EDIT #2: For those who didnt see other thread, its finished now. |

Lolo 1x3 is just basic graphics hack to replace lolo1 graphics from lolo3 and some minor text edits.
Version 1.5 fixes some things I overlooked and corrects enemies palette. Original on left and modified on right, this is just for comparison screenshot and not part of actual hack, all levels are unedited. Download: (click) Patch it into "Adventures of lolo 1(U)[!].nes" from goodnes 3.14. |

Since I completed lolo 1x3, I though if I could do same for nes/fds eggerland games , and seems like its possible(and looking at graphics in yy-chr, its almost identical to lolo1), though palette is more limited and most obvious difference is black background instead of floor-tiles:
Take a wild guess Messing around with nesticle(only for real-time graphics editing), I found out its possible to get rid of black-background: But it looks messed-up and causes some annoying problems when it comes to palette(s) so Im just gonna stick with blackBG. |

Posted by ChaobomrPosted by RetroRainBattle mode, versus. It started with the DS version. Don't know if it's available in 7. MK7 has too, both balloon battle and coin battles, though both are time-limited which makes battle-mode(s) just boring. |

Just like the title-screen says, this is something I made years ago and then randomly found it on my backups and decied to finish it. Also its quite short, only three worlds. [Click to download] Patch it to "Super Mario Bros (JU) (PRG 1).nes" |

Posted by ChaobomrPosted by KDeee Yeah its been done many times, but Im just messing around. And speaking of messing around, I got idea to make KA hack where you cant float/fly: Instead you use abilities to get around, or y'know, jump around instead of skipping half of level just by holding up |

So this is my (currently unnamed) Kirbys adventure hack, and main concept of it is that you cant fly, meaning you have to use different abilities to get around instead of just holding up to skip most of levels, but Im not planning to force player to only use one ability during entire game, maybe in few selections or entire level, but its too early to say. Also Kirby is angry for whatever reason.
Any comments, feedback, suggestions etc are welcome, but remember that this is far from finished . EDIT: And demo is on second page. |

Current progress:
Level 2's mini-boss area, its about the same but made it less flat, otherwise its about the same. No idea what caused that glitch but its now fixed. I deiced to put that hi-jump area to last part. Instead of having angry kirby for no reason I decided to change kirbys sprites to ones from dream land2, but since its more basic in terms of animations, I have to figure something out for frames that arent on DL2, sliding and [kirby on] slope(s) for example. |

Posted by Stufid Well to me hes KDL2 sprite looks nicer, plus that ">" caused some problems since kirbys sprites are all over the place and some of them are all over the place |

Anyways, changed some stuff on first level, mostly first areas tileset and made backgrounds less bland:
(Im not sure why in some screenshots there are garbage in top row since it only shows up in screenshots, but not in emulator..) |

Posted by ChaobomrPosted by KDeeeHave you set the emulator to PAL? That might help with finding these artifacts. Nah its NTSC(and its (U) rom anyway), maybe nestopia just adds those extra-lines to screenshots for some reason |

Posted by Chaobomr Yeah its PAL thing, in NTSC version you cant see top row, but on PAL its visible. So basically nestopia saves screenshots with those extra lines even when playing (U) rom even when its in NTSC mode. |
