I can't edit properly MENU dialogues.

I'm Spanish and if I add special characters, I can't edit attacks an descriptions.

All Spells are in this format

óFire
óDummy

instead

Fire
Dummy



And special char are dissapearing when I save changes... "¡" turns to "á" for example.

And, in 3.12.0 I can properly edit descriptions using [numer of char], but after that, they always are set wrong.

Thanks, but if I modify the Dialogue table I obtain same results in 3.9.0 and 3.12.0

All special characters are associated with font chars in the "Key" field but when I press ¿ It draws á (this is an example)...

EDIT: OK, from [123] to [127] in Dialogue must be blank.

Hi, does anyone know how can I edit some.sentences like:

LUCKY!
Max HP

and others?

I've seen "Alphabet", and also changed MISS (in battle numerals) to [....] but I don't know how I can edit LUCKY! to ¡SUERTE! for example.

giangurgolo, thank you. I was using 3.9.0 because 3.12.0 can´t edit Atacks properly and this option wasn't fetured yet.

Another question, why don't key fields get saved when i change between 3.9.0 and 3.12.0...?

In 3.12.0 I can properly edit descriptions using [numer of char] instead "á", but when i change to the next attack, they're always set wrong.

Only works fine if special character is set in a position like [xx], but not if it is placed in a [xxx] position.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I've seen some atacks (like Scream) that are not listed in atacks section. There are many of them.

I've tested in real hard (tototek and repro cart) and title is broken.

I have this patch, as I read, is based on RedScorpion's german translation.

I assume that this patch can be aplied to the original Parallel release too (1.1).

I' m working in a reproduction cart with original and remodel (all in one) and it would be nice to have all roms ok 100%.

OK, here´s the patch, original and remodel compatible:

It repairs checksums and sets the rom in PAL zone.

Edit: sorry, the patch is for original release, not Remodel... in Remodel you only need to repair checksum after patching your file.



By other side....


I´m already working in a BS COMPLETE all in one cart.

I only need 2 flashtop (29F032), an 74LS139 and a double switch. Then you can change between weeks (2MB rom) using this switch, no extra sram is needed.

But I want to finish the spanish translation first (adding submessages).

I´m still having same issues in attacks section. All spells with an special char are now broken, and when I'm trying to fix them:

As the config files aren't the same than older versions I can change between 3.9 and 3.13 so this is a minor problem... but it should better to solve.

Thank you, It's done.

And now, I've read that with lazyshell is not possible to edit the animated intro in order to change names and the "Help!" draw.

I downloaded the german patch and it has all of these changed... could someone make a simply guide to do that?

Edit: ok I've found the offsets and it's done.

kogami, I think you will not be able to hard edit the intro.

Part of KING chars and TODASTOOL's are used to make the GENO's char.

How can I decompress the Ending Credits, 'The End' word art in order to translate it?

I know that's in LC_LZ8 compression and in 0x387A00 but... nothing else.

The "THE END" tiles are at 0x387A06, so:


decomp.exe rom.smc x387A06.bin 387A06 7 0


It's LZ8, so you have to use te "7" in decompression routine
