I hope I can at least renew the domain name next month, so some sleazy site squatter doesn't snatch it up. If everything works out as I've planned, I may be able to ressurect the site (Paying for a year or two of block server space) in July.

Treating a fellow rom hacker like that? Bah! The disagreement wasn't even about rom hacking in any way, but still. I think sirhax0r or somebody was kicked by them around the same time back then.

Last view: 6257 days 		I did two backups of the site, but something is fucked up on our host's server because the TAR in the TAR.GZ archive of the entire site was corrupt both times.

So there is nothing unless I can get the site back up in a few weeks. I'm hoping I can, which will result in me switching to a new host with much more resources.

I actually have a name for this phoenomenon. "The GPL Effect". Basically, back when GPH wasn't complying with the Linux GPL, it got slashdotted, and a fuckton of people who don't know anything about the system, or the company, or the situation, nor care, started attacking GPH for the sake of blindly sticking up for GPL.

Try portmanteau or something instead of outlandish jargon next time?

But colin, there's a obvious difference between this game and GTA in that this game ranks a few orders of magnitudes worse with respect to social norms.
