Mario 2
EEAEAE - Game freezes after gameplay begins.
XINPOZ - Cool, discolored title screen.
VINPOZ - A very messed up title screen.
KINPOZ - Christmas color title screen
OOOOOO - When you kill an enemy, the crystal ball fanfare plays, and the music stops.
EASYTO - Going into the door at the start of 1-1 sends you back to the top of the area.
AASYTO - Nice freeze.
ELTELG - Awesome music. Mario is a grey shadow. The graphics at the start of 1-1 are messed up. Lots of weird things, such as Birdo hitting itself with its own egg. Try this out!
TLTELG - Similar to the previous code, except the graphics freak out and its freezes after a short while.

The third one is the best one, hands down. The second one is generally considered the worst one, but the fourth case more than makes up for it.

Been with her for quite a while now. I take comfort in knowing she's always by my side. I don't have a photo on hand right now, but I do know what she looks like from seeing her so often, so here's an "artist's rendition", if you will.

11. Names MUST be used on the correct gender. In particular, PLEASE do NOT use male or masculine-sounding names on females. What's with this obsession with masculinity anyway? Contrary to popular belief, giving a girl a feminine name will NOT hurt their future job prospects.

So what about names that can be used on both genders? What is your stance on those names?

I'm in a troubleshooting mode, so...

I hate it when hack makers use multi-coin blocks like that.

I question whether you even tried to "[make] this hack bug-free".

Flash!

How is this supposed to work, again?

Somebody took a dump on the road.

The side of the wall doesn't look right.

The corner of the platform has no boarder stopping you from entering the wall.

This again.

This again.

A sprite overload occurs here, knocking out the bottom left corner of the Spiny (and turning it invisible when it lands)

And again.

The timer is partially obscuring it, but you can see there's another fadeout error. What, did you put that mofo' at 10x speed whenever you completed a level?

Not this shit again.

Halfpipe Pirhana.

I also noticed a number of your levels borrow rather heavily from the original game. And I do mean heavily. Most notably, Lost Woods and Kero Sewers 2. Any particular reason why you did this?

Remember a little while ago, when Microsoft bought all the ad space on Gamespot's PS3 page? If not, you just need to know it happened. But that was just the beginning of their antics. Today, during France's PS3 launch, Microsoft took the opportunity to advertise in the domain of Sony again. They came in on their boat, sounded the horn, and let viewers gawk at their message, which subtly mocked Sony.

Check out the article here, or go here to see a video of the incident.

Now for the "flashing" bits; it must be a glitch because my original doesn't do any of that, including the small garbage after Castle 1 is destroyed.

You using a token emulator? It happens on ZSNES. I believe it's a result of having Color 4x0 set to anything but its original black color.

Posted by Forte.EXE
Booster Forest's cavern wall is supposed to be like that since it's an MMXtream GFX I hand ripped.

Well apparantly, you didn't do a very thorough job. You just lazily flipped some of the tiles (or just didn't line them up properly), creating the afformentioned effect. Compare and contrast the two (and the original tiles for good measure).

Back to business...

A loose tile is hiding under that pyramid.

The bat isn't even touching the roof.

Want to know what else is treacherous?

I might be missing something here, but you have a Nightmare Castle 1, a Nightmare Castle 2, and a Nightmare Castle 4. What happened to 3? You think we're gonna spend forever looking for it or something?

Palette bar error. I'm not even counting (or am just disregarding) all the ones prior.

More a design flaw than a bug - but it's just unusual to not have those pushing down on you.

It's kind of hard to walk up these escalators (which look somewhat out of place thanks to the tiles below them, by the way); Mario just does a dance at the top. You need a carefully timed jump to get by. Solution: make the escalators lead up to a tile that acts like tile 100 (you'll have to extend the ledge for this, obviously)

Palette error gives the fire flower a pink stem in this area.

Standing in front of a waterfall, on something that's behind it.

I'm not even going to bother showing any more of these.

Garbage.

A pipe that floats on ? blocks is NO GOOD.

A cloud fringe, but no cloud.

More sprite overloads.

Nice job putting the ace coin on a vertical subscreen boundry.

Go in the pipe, come out the- wait, what?

The torpedo ted launchers create holes in the scenery. Shouldn't be too much to create some ExGFX to make that look better.

Now that just looks weird. (also, palette bar error)

Meh at the Swooper. And just because Nintendo did something wrong with their game back then doesn't mean it's okay to do it in hacks of their game.

Where's the hole graphic? On another note, the way the graphics of that level are designed allows players to watch the Pirhana Plants (Pokeys) vanish when they are above them. Just mentioning this oddity.

Pallete bar error? So Mario's name and the star icon is in a blue shade, atleast it isn't horribly fucked up and unreadable.

This "horribly fucked up" enough for ya?

Screenshot is unnecessary for this one - In the Space Station, at a point where you have to get a POW swtich to create a bridge to cross a bed of spikes, you can instead use a cape to fly across. You can take the POW switch with you through the level, eventually coming to a part where you fall down and must hit some blocks from below so you won't fall down when you go that way again. You can use your POW to get by easily, but those aren't the bugs. The bug is if you wing it into the nearby door after doing so, the POW music will never stop until you reach the boss.

The notorious frozen ring of boos glitch.

(P.S. I think it's just a BS excuse to never finish it; if not, it should be finished in his memory)

Well cats like fish, and nerds like cats, so therefore the nerds must love fish if they want the cats to love them back. Wrong as hell in some ways, but what are you gonna do (apart from genocide)?

However, for every great place to stick your penis, there are around eight bad places to stick it. And every now and then, someone's common sense seems to evaporate, the end result of which is a very personal injury. That's just what happened to a 30 year old man at Parafield Gardens Saw Mill. He somehow managed to get his crotch caught on a chain on a piece of machinery. How he managed to do this and what he was thinking at the time, we may never know. But he did it. Luckily, although arguably undeservingly, his injuries were non-life threatening.

You can read the rather short article on this incident here.

You do realize there's an XBox 360 version, right? No need to spend all that money on a PS3, unless you want MGS4 or something.

Anyhow, it's nice to see that it takes place in Liberty City again, except it's been given a facelift. It now looks a lot more like New York. The graphics also look a lot better. Also, you get to play as a Russian. That's cool. Russians are cool.

On another note, the resemblence between him and Iran's president is uncanny. It's likely coincidential, but still, it's pretty interesting.

Not like I've really put much on it yet since my last reinstall anyhow (the story of that is for another day). I have 57.5 GB free, 74.5 GB total. Although had I not reinstalled, now would be an excellent time to do that.

Those people don't realize that if you post something on the internet that is very scandalous, you can and should expect it to spread to various internet factions, some of which will do their damnedest to ensure everyone on the internet, as well as your friends and family, find out about it. It happened a week or so back with a girl who had images of her fellating a dog, and it happened again. No manner of insults, retorts, or requests to "grow up" are ever going to change these people, and it amuses them and their associates to see the victims or their friends try. In fact, I myself find the victims' angry/sad replies pretty amusing myself, despite not being that big of a dick to do something like that (or maybe it's just that I'm just too lazy to do so 97% of the time). But anyhow, that's not the point of this topic.

On Staten Island in New York, a girl who attends St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School took nude photographs of herself in cheerleading attire. She sent them to a student at the St. Peter's Boys' High School. Now, this guy then forwarded them to his friends, who forwarded it to their friends, and so on and so forth. Eventually, these photographs were all over the internet. Talk of the pics circulated around the school, and one of the teachers overheard chatter about them. School officials were contacted, and the girl was promptly expelled. Now, the juicy part? Apparantly, the St. Joseph by the Sea emblem is clearly visible in some of the images. Very obvious how that helped them find her, no? Oh, and did I mention she's 16 years old? That made it child pornography.

You can check out the full article here. Yes, the photographs do exist on the internet. Find them yourself if you that sick and twisted.

Statistics are awesome.

Therefore, porn statistics must be double awesome. So here is a link to a website that shows statistics for pornography for 2007. Some of this stuff is crazy. Various points of interest...

Average age of first Internet exposure to pornography: 11 years old
Every second - 28,258 Internet users are viewing pornography
Men admitting to accessing pornography at work - 20%
China having banned pornography, but it taking in more revenue from it than any other country
89% of the pornographic web pages in the world originate in the US

Maybe make it so that bot views don't count toward the view count increasing. Only bot views, mind you. If you really want to stop this from happening, make guest views not count when getting close to a milestone view. On the other hand, the viewcount is just a number, no big deal really.

Sex is a common theme in young children. Ranging from the "show me yours and I'll show you mine" game to pedophilia. Sometimes, young children have sex with one another, and that's just what happened in a Union Parish, Louisiana neighborhood on March 27th. Two 11 year old girls, a 12 year old boy, and a 13 year old boy, were all arrested on obscenity charges, with an 11 year old boy being charged as an accessory after the fact. The kicker? They are Grade 5 students, who were left unattended in their classroom with other students. It also shows a little about how their performance in school was - children that old shouldn't really be in that grade.

You can read the full story here.

(Of course, if I were to have a sexual experience at a young age, I'd do it somewhere private. Actually, I did have one, but it was only kissing - nothing major really. Age 5, I believe. Again, their doing it in public shows their lack of intelligence)

Artists across the United States decorated eggs, which are made to represent their state in graphical form. Each one is to be displayed at the White House at an annual display of the eggs. Now, I normally wouldn't post something like this, moreso because I'm Canadian. But there is something in particular that made me want to post it. First off, look at five or six other state eggs. Then look at Wyoming's.
