This isn't a game but it's very helpful in the way of free games, particularly of the indie kind:

The Independent Gaming Source.

Nikujin's pretty cool.

I know that the CPU is very important in a system and it's also quite hard to tell which is the best and what to look for. Hopefully I will be able to buy parts for a new computer by the fall for directx10 games and other high end graphics games(my current video card is only a radeon x800). I need some help in what I should look for. I've seen that dual core processors can run anywhere up to $900. It's really confusing for me and I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Ok, like this one right here:

is 1295.

But I can't tell it apart from this one

which is a little over 100.

Ok so I've seen the first episode (there are like 10+ episodes currently) of "Toward the Terra", an anime tv series adaptation of the manga and movie that came before. It starts out in a seemingly utopian society not unlike minority report. A lot of questions are raised which are not answered right away. It starts out with a high school kid named Jomy Marquis Shin, approaching his 14th birthday; at which point he becomes an adult if he passes an examination. There is a lot that's unclear so if you want to watch a serious sci-fi anime with great plot potential, Toward the Terra might be good.

I went with XP because I heard of horrible bloated Vista is. And DX10 dosen't seem to be worth it enough.

That's funny because dx10 would be the only reason I would get vista. This is a concern for me as well when I build a new system. Do you think Dx10 will run on any other OSes?

When it comes out in the US(july 20, I believe) I will totally be getting it. I don't own the original but this game looks damn impressive. The abundance of characters, abilities, and the inclusion of online multiplayer should make for a really fun experience. I am really psyched for it.

I hate to say it, but if you plan on running DirectX 10 games, its not just the processor you should be worrying about, its the video card. Your going to need to get a new video card, one that supports the new DirectX 10 pixel shaders.

Well yea, but my current cpu can't support the games, it barely runs some of the ones out now. ATI's 2900 XT HD is cooler than the nvidia 8800 series but I think I can wait until heat isn't so much of an issue.

You mean make sure I have the latest shader software for the video card?

2 GB DDR2 is fine, right?

I work at a nursing home, so I know how insensitive people can be. When you're dealing with death all the time some people seem to find it difficult to find worth in life. It's not comforting but it's true and I sometimes find myself feeling the same way. I've worked mainly when I've had vacations from school since last year and I've found that you get conditioned to death. Fortunately though, the love from those living should always be felt and recognized to overcome your fear and sadness. That's the beauty in being human, we are animals.

They need a Donkey Kong level for those barrels. And I am talking about the arcade classic Donkey Kong.

Yea, I really hope so. As far as stages are concerned, I think there's still a LOT left to see. I mean we haven't seen any unique stages. They all more or less follow the battlefield structure.

Physics I at night and Chemistry II in the morning right now. Physics I ends on June 28 and Chemistry the week after. I currently have to wake up at 4:30 AM 3 days of the week to get to Chemistry class at Rutgers. After that I have Physics II at Rutgers and then 3 weeks at the end before the fall semester begins. Maybe I'll work then to get some dough for new computer parts.

Umm... guys?

Doesn't this look like that one level from the trailers? It's definitely not one of the three listed on the site right now. Wrong style of platform for any of the revealed levels, and it has pine trees and a flag.

The move looks very stylish, even if it only appears to hit one opponent, compared to Mario's which seems to hit everyone.

Then again, if the trailer is accurate, Kirby's only hits one character, also.

They've showed that stage a bunch of times. That one, and others, have not had entries yet but we know they exist.

Starscream is an F-22 Raptor stealth aircraft.
Megatron is a Jet because Megatron being a gun was retarded in the cartoon, and would be even more so in a live-action movie.

Soundwave being left out had nothing to do with Michael Bay. He was left out because Don Murphy and the other producers wanted to avoid the use of mass-shifting in the first one, because it would detract from the supposed realism.

Nevertheless, the studio has already greenlit two sequels, and Murphy has stated that he wants to include Soundwave when they figure out how to "do him right".

But, yeah, it's not going to be a faithful adaptation. Just like every other live-action adaptation of everything ever wasn't a faithful adaptation, because 99 times out of 100 faithful live-action adaptations of non live-action things would either be stupid or outright impossible.
It's going to be a good movie. And as live-action Transformers movies can go, it's going to be just fine. Just because it's not going to be the same as a 23-year-old cartoon doesn't mean it won't do the Transformers name justice.

Then again, I liked Beast Wars, so what do I know?

Actually megatron WON'T transform at all.

Just to not make the movie border on the line of absolute cheese, I'm hoping scorponok's form is not taken from a scorpion and is some form of experimental army weapon. That would work somewhat.

I have no problem with Optimus having flames. If he was a boring red truck would people not complain?

The video's a couple of years old but it still kicks a lot of ass.

And James Rolfe(the angry Video Game Nerd) reviewed the original animated movie.

QFT.

I worked at a nursing home on weekends part time. You know where they put me? In the alzheimer's ward. My job was pretty simple, provide breakfast for the patients who were in the area. Thing was, the place would simply give me a plate of donuts to put out regardless of what they may have actualy asked for. Their logic was the people wouldn't remember what they ordered anyway, and if they did, I was to tell them that they were mistakened.

I quit that job FAST. Urgh. (though last I heard the person heading that particular "program" was let go...that's besides the point)

Yea and it's ridiculous how much people pay to live in these places. The one I work at is like 5,000 a month. It's not even that great. But we at the Activities dept. try our best. There are a few of us(10 maybe?) but we are also the people who treat the residents the best. Maybe it's because we don't have to spend 12 hours doing the dirty work the nurses and aides do. It's kind of unfortunate though when you have people from our department arguing with nurses and aides to get them to take a resident to the bathroom because of inconvenience. A lot of residents fall, though I'm happy to say I've never seen one fall while I was around. 5,000 a month and you're not even guaranteed to stay clean and safe. This is of course with those who are less able to express themselves or remember such problems because of alzheimer's, dementia, or whatever else. I always try to remember that it's more frustrating for them than it is for us.

You will likely find that the people who work at nursing homes are those oppose the institution's purpose. They know how bad it is for the residents to be detached from their family. It is ridiculous.

Yea Link is also not blonde in TP. I'm not sure if they should have Sheik or if they would. They can either put her in to keep things good and continuous or they might want to stick to the games these models come from. I'd really like to see more movesets as well; it's also kind of a pain that they don't release all the character data together.(basic info, moveset, final smash) How much data can they divulge in this format before the release?

Maybe her final smash is something related to the light spirits attacking other characters...

And we don't need Ganon (although he would be badass) I want Zant
Or Midna.

You are of course kidding, right? I think it may be a bit of a spoiler maybe because it will have only been a year since TP came out when brawl does and not everyone might know that Ganon is in it despite the fact it is a Zelda title. Ganondorf TP in brawl would totally be awesome. His animations and weapons and all that were oh so beautiful. He was so frickin' polished and refined in that game. It would be a damn shame to have Zelda and Link but not him.

The only thing I hate is that you still appear to be limited to 4 character, wich suck

Yea, I would like to think I can fit my 7 letter name into a game made nowadays but this will be the second of this gen not allowing me to do so. (the first being WarioWare) Zelda has remained pretty reliable though. (I think I can fit my name on the first one too)
