Hi Moppy & the community, nice to meet you all.
I've heard about this editor for ages and I thought that it wasn't getting finished at all, but suddenly BOOM! all these releases. I've been playing with it for a couple of days and it work wonders. I'm a video game programmer, who always wanted to create a mana-series game, but I lack the time to finish the code that I have, sprite everything (nearly done) and design the game, that's why I'm so happy with this editor. I was trying to check for some instructions and in the old forum you said that there are no instructions and we should ask you. My first goal is to redraw everything on SD3 style (which is more beautiful, in my opinion, but still is not so fluffy and cute as the legend of mana games and the ones after that one) but in order to do that I'd like to know something or have some instructions on: 1) How do I redraw tiles (both 8x0 and 16x0)? I mean, I'm able to edit maps by moving the existing tiles around, but I want to know how to redraw those tiles and if possible how to change the palette. I hope you or anyone in the community is able to answer this, I will be waiting. I'm very enthusiast with this project, I hope you get it running and finish it some day. |

thats the thing... i dont wanna change the palletes so often because im editing the bg tiles, not the sprites (animated chars)
i know i can use one of those, but this would save me so much time if i just had an idea of how to use it (assuming its possible) |
