If I recall correctly, Francis64's hack was unlocked when I used to have it. Unfortunately, I can't confirm this because I left that hack behind on my old computer. Also, the link to the hack is broken and it isn't on SMW Central either.

You can open Lunar Magic and see where the exit is yourself.
Eh, I don't romhack so I've never touched Lunar Magic. That and I prefer to beat games on my own, but I probably will just go ahead, download Lunar Magic, and do that. Wow, I've known you can do that forever but the thought just never occurred to me since I don't ever use it. I seem to be on a roll lately with being slow!

The level looks amazing and once again it has some cool new music to go with it (although I could swear I've heard it before. Sonic 3 two player mode?). Keep up the awesome work

Yep. Chrome Gadget specifically I believe.

Yeah guys be careful, we're not allowed to voice our opinions about ||board on this board remember. Only ||board is allowed to voice their opinions about us on theirs. /sarcasm

Seriously, lets drop the ||board bashing, AND the "hur hur cough cough you're not allowed to bash ||board cuz ||board is better" crap right here. It's pointless, really old, and everyone's sick of it.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to act like a mod, and sorry for this post actually contributing to that crap, but please let this be the last one. I just don't want this thread to deteriorate into more of that.

Anyway, welcome back Uncle Elmo. You don't know who I am am but its nice to see you here again. You have been missed.

Yes, I'm bumping a month old thread, and yes, I'm double posting.

I really don't give a fuck, this show is too awesome to not post about.
Tonight's ep... holy shit...
This is officially my number one show of 06/07.
Only four episodes left D:
I'm not going to say anything about this episode, you have to watch it yourself
...

Agreed. That episode was Awesome! The show is better than ever now, totally worth the wait! This is one of the few cases where I think the wait actually helped the emotional impact of the show. Perfect timing as now everything in the show seems to have renewed purpose. Everyone's finally starting to come together into groups, we're getting way more answers, and all parts of the plot are coming together. Next week looks even more awesome! It will be fun to see everyone's dark side.

Plus now I guess we know who was going to die and who would go to the dark side. And it looks like we're about to get another crucial piece of information from the future. Now if only we knew how Claire is crucial to saving the world.

Ok, I'm in the process of recording a cassette tape to my computer through my line in port when all of a sudden things start going screwy. First the audio I'm recording will randomly jump from way to low to extremely loud, then it will randomly choose which channel to record, then my sound card keeps saying that my speakers are being plugged in and unplugged at random. The recording itself is illegible. I've recorded cassettes to my computer before and nothing like this has ever happened.

I stop the recording and try to figure out what the heck is going on. I double check to make sure everything is configured properly. The speakers seem to be, but the line in keeps jumping around. I open up the realtek HD audio manager, unplug the line in, then plug it back into line in. each time it says that I'm not plugging it into the blue line in port but into the black speaker port or the microphone port. The same goes with the rest of my speakers. Each time I unplug one and plug it back in, it says I'm plugging it in somewhere different than where I am actually sticking it.

After playing around with the configurations, I got it to where everything seems to be recognized by the right ports now, but it must not be, because now I can't play any sound at all and I can no longer get my computer to even detect anything coming in through line in, much less hear it, no matter where I plug it in or configure it.

I've restarted the computer, went through everything in the useless help file just in case I forgot something stupid like turning the speakers on or something, reinstalled the sound card drivers, nothing works. I haven't been able to find anything helpful on google yet. I tested my speakers on something else and they work and are hooked up fine. But I guess my sound card is just being retarded.

Anybody have any idea what could be causing this?

I have a realtek HD audio 7.1 sound card and use logitech 5.1 speakers on windows XP 2005 media center edition.

Yes Cedar Point is awesome. I live in Ohio. We go to Cedar Point at least 1 day every summer and stay from open to close. I you are able to still go, just remember, it is Ohio, and in the middle of Lake Eerie at that. So be prepared for ANY type of weather, especially rain, and this time of year at least, cold. Depending on when you go, its either extremely cold or extremely hot. I went one time in late may and it was rainy and 50 degrees all day but we still had a blast. And if you ride Millennium Force, you MUST ride front seat. Its almost a waste if you don't. And no matter how long the line is, it is so worth it. Hope you can get everything worked out.

Also, (this is random) Peter made me think of Neo while looking at some scenes

I thought the same thing. I kept remebering that MTV Matrix Reloaded parody where Wanda Sykes says to Neo "Come on man, you da one, you da one man, you can do it all!" It didn't help that Sylar fighting with Peter reminded me of the revolutions fight with Neo and Agent Smith too, except that Sylar is an infinitely more awesome villian than Agent Smith, and Peter and Sylar's fight didn't get too far. Man, now I want a full blown action sequence of Peter and Sylar fighting using all they got against each other. That'd make an awesome finale!

I just saw it in IMAX and it was AWESOME! Eh, I also found it to be a little drawn out mainly just because it took so long to introduce venom, but to me that didn't stop it from being the best of the three. I think this movie draws more from emotion, character development, and its overall message. Though, yes it still could have been improved a little pacing wise, I didn't find any scene to be unnecessary. It takes so long to get to venom because at heart, the movie is about other things and venom is more of a personification of all of the other events happening and how the characters are being taken over by them. At least thats how I viewed it.

I also thought the action sequences in this movie, while not as frequent as in the other two, are by far the best they've had. In this one though, the action more of the medium to the story rather than the focus. The focus is the story and the characters. so I guess how much you'll enjoy it is based on what you go to the movies for. I tend to like my plots to be intricate and to be able to have many interpretations with a focus on characters and how they change and learn throughout the story so I liked it. There's also plenty of good plot twists. My neck is killing me from staring at the screen for so long, but it was so worth it.

So I'm about to leave right now for Cedar Point. Only problem, high of 60 for Sandusky today which means it going to be freezing with all the wind, and if it rains (which it almost always does up there) its going to be miserable. Luckily, according to Tina the forecast is sunny, so hopefully we'll luck out and it won't rain.

We're going up there for my sister's birthday, but she has a knack for always picking the worst days to go. I.E. she always wants to go in May on the worst day of the week. I went up there one other time when it was that cold, but it also down poured all day to the point where we just kept going on the water rides since we were already soaked.

As long as we don't get drenched, I'll be happy. Its still gonna be awesome either way though. I haven't been able to go up there since 2004. And even when we were soaking wet and cold all day we still had a blast. Although rain hitting your face at 92mph on Millennium Force and riding Wicked Twister in the hail are interesting sensations to say the least.

There's a big difference between 60 in the sun walking around, and 60 in the shade standing stagnant with wind and or rain. The later is when 60 is cold. Anyway, the weather actually turned out to be near perfect. No rain at all, it ended up getting to 70, and the only time we were really cold was in the morning in line for Millennium Force. The whole line was in the shade, it was still in the upper 50s, windy, and a whole lot more wind whenever the train rushed by us at 92. Even then it wouldn't have been bad, but since it felt so warm walking in the sun to get there, we had just put our coats and everything else to keep us warm away.

We had a blast! The only thing we didn't get to do was ride Top Thrill Dragster. whenever we were over there it was always shut down due to mechanical problems. Plus the park closed at 7 today. We usually go on a day when we can stay until 11, so we didn't get to ride as many as we usually do, but we went on all the must rides, Millennium Force, Mantis, Raptor, Magnum, wicked Twister, and we got to ride Maxair and Skyhawk which weren't built last time we were there. They weren't as big as I thought they would be, but they were still fun. Maverick isn't open yet, but it doesn't look too impressive so far, it seems awful small.

We just now got back, I'm about to get a shower and eat some pizza.

Oh, one bad thing about the sun, I never thought to bring sunblock so now we all have a sunburn, but it isn't too bad.

You know I was certain that -30 degree wind chills in blowing snow such as the ones I've been through in Illinwah were colder.
Uh yeah, last time I checked it was too

I think I'm just a little paranoid when I go up there now that no matter what, the weather will be like it was when we were soaked all day. Thats what makes it miserable. 50 or 60 isn't that bad, but walking around for 12 hours in the same drenched shoes and socks and light clothing that is now one with your skin because nothing ever evaporates even when it isn't raining due the humidity, isn't exactly the most comfortable thing in 50 or 60 degree weather. Especially with the 30+ mph winds while your waiting in line for Wicked Twister. Thats why I always bring a change of clothes now. Or at least a different pair of shoes and socks. That was the worst thing, even when we did manage to get somewhat dry, our feet were just crying out for mercy. I think they were about twice their size by the time we got in the car to go home.

Didn't stop us from having fun though. For one thing, being wet all day anyway gave us an excuse to keep going on the water rides. We may as well have been at soak city all day. And actually, that wouldn't have been the first time I've been at a pool all day when it was 60. Oh and it was funny, everyone I was with bought a raincoat AFTER they were already soaked and we were about to go on Snake River Falls. I'm like what's the point? So I was the only one who just walked around in their clothes all day not caring. But what was really great was that my sister's raincoat flew up over her head right as we hit the bottom on Snake River Falls and got drenched.

And yes,

Rain makes coasters faster!
They also seemed to run more smoothly in the rain. But they also kept shutting them down, mainly just whenever lightning was spotted though. Plus the lines were way short since most people went home after giving up on the rain to let up. We rode Raptor like 6 times in one hour at one point after it just opened up from being down for a while.

Anyway, back to yesterday's trip instead of the one from 5 years ago:

The only thing we didn't get to do was ride Top Thrill Dragster. whenever we were over there it was always shut down due to mechanical problems.

Not surprising, the thing is practically a geriatric in terms of maintenance now. It's comparatively brand new, though :-\
Yeah, but its still been up for three years. I thought they would have worked some the kinks out of it by now. Skyhawk and Maxair wern't shut down once while we were there, and they're both newer. Of course Top Thrill Dragster is far more complex than those, so I give them some leeway.

Actually, since the park has really only been open for a few weeks so far this year, a lot of rides were still shut down (like Snake River Falls and Blue Streak) or were only half running. It was like the park was only half open. Only one Gemini coaster was running, only one of the power towers was working, Maverick's still half built, and the park closed at 7 instead of 10. Thats one reason why I usually prefer to go in June. The park's fully open by then.

We lucked out on a lot of rides though. We got to ride Raptor with only a 15 minute wait, and with Mantis, the lines were so jumbled for the seats, that the line for front was actually shorter than the other seats and no one noticed but us We ended up getting to ride front seat on just about everything we went on, and the only ride where it was really a much longer wait was Millennium Force. Of course, that's the only ride we care about riding front seat on, so extra half hour wait for us.

Oh, another thing we went on yesterday, Cedar Creek Mine ride. That's like the awesomely bad roller coaster of Cedar Point. Its great because it sucks, and is therefore a must ride! You never have to wait at all in line, but there's always enough people to fill up the train. Then the fun starts: Everyone screaming "OH MY GOD, WE'RE GONNA DIE!!" as you takes the little two foot teaser drop, it taking what seems like a half an hour to climb the second hill, sounding like the whole thing's about to fall apart the whole time. If you're there with the right people in the train all riding it because it sucks, its just the funnest atmosphere. I always feel like I'm 7 again where the most crap ass rides were the funnest thing ever, and you couldn't wait for the carnival to come to town! Plus, while going up the hill, you could see where two geese had decided to nest below the ride, and there were tons of baby geese all over down there. It was the cutest thing. Oh yeah, the Canadian Geese are taking over Cedar Point, as well as the rest of Ohio. Hence the "Please do not feed the geese" signs all over the place in a futile attempt to get them to lose interest. Especially when they are right next to a bird food dispenser with no other birds around

And Anya, I think by the time you go they should be back into the full swing of things. Thats the week when they start being open their regular hours, so everything should at least be running. I hope you can go on everything you want to ride while your up there. Plus the weather should be nice. Since this was our rainy week, we should have a pretty nice warming trend form here on out. Just remember to bring sunblock. My whole face is burnt red from yesterday. Oh, and you do know that everything there is ridiculously overpriced right? We ate at Johnny Rockets and it cost 80 bucks! Mine alone was $15 and all I got was a burger and fries but hey, thats how they keep in business.

I thought it was pretty good aside from me hating Toby McGuire as Spiderman. His exaggerated self-satisfaction reminded me of the Bay Area people sniffing their own farts in the South Park episode "Smug Alert." It was surreal how into himself he acted to the point where it was disgusting. And that shows that either there was bad writing or bad acting, b/c it's just stupid.

Yeah, they could have done it way better there. I mean, at least later on he realizes "OMG I was a total ass!" but he lets his fame make him so self-absorbed to the point where I just want to slap him for being so retarded. As for whether it was bad writing or bad acting, I'm leaning towards bad writing. It felt like they couldn't think of anything better to do for Peter to "not be ready for MJ yet" so they just had him treat her like crap.

I still think the movie was awesome though, but I also really need to watch the other two again, I haven't seen them in a while. After thinking about it, I have a feeling once I see the first one again, I'm going to realize it's actually still the best film of the trilogy.
