Your first post in this thread was indeed very content filled xk and it's nice to get some input from the other end of the spectrum, in fact, I'd be nice if you could share even more.

But that does not change the fact that I (nor any other user) want to deal with drama clogging up this thread, which you should be aware of.

I don't understand how any of you could possibly think that, after four years, anything you do with this board would be considered "backstabbing me". The only thing I want to do with this board is drive a wooden stake into it already.

We will be adressing suggestions that users brought up in the impass thread and work on adding/removing what we see is needed to make the board go the way we think is the best.

Should it not help the board? Well, then at least we gave it a try to update it.


the best way forward is to remove the DELETE, INSERT, and UPDATE privledges for the current database user :eng101:

Jul has an even lower barrier to entry than this board does (no captcha or 5 minute wait before the board considers you registered), and the wiki is similar (it doesn't actually require valid email). So that's interesting.

Compared to that, this place is like a TSA security patdown line. :rolleye:
