2. You can play 4 stages demo (this demo contain stages that actually i had already done ), it's not in ips so you won't need lunar ips:

That would be kind if you can send those documents.
I tried to learn how to use Famitracker. It's not hard to put few tunes, but if it comes to make a whole song it is too hard to me.
I got some nsf. files for this hack and I read something about swapping music in Megaman 4 but it is pretty hard and i need to ask someone who's better in this point, but I want to change music, that sure and I think I use music that I use in clips.

PS: If anyone knows i need three values for Megaman weapons:
1. I need where in hex code is place where i can boost speed of Pharaoh shoot
2. I would like to make that ring boomerang will can go up (if press x + up arrow), but i think that would be hardest thing from those
3. I also need values for Toad Man weapon, I mean I want to lower the time betwen use weapon and start rain and value for rain flush duration

As you can see In last video, when I was working at Skull Man AI i found some intresting values in hex code for speed of his shoots.

PS2: I wonder why some tsa functions (like glide left/right or slippery floor) don't work on some stages. For ex. If i want to put conveyer belt into wily 1 castle the tsa block don't work. Is it anything i can do?

And also Is it possible to make that skull man bullet will animate (share tileset) like his shield. I mean i want to reuse them as a bullet, but i know that bullet animation contains only 1 frame, and i need 3 frames. Is it possible to make it with Tile Layer Pro and Hex Code Editor?

I want to ask, since i want to put custom music into hack. I got some .nsf files from diffrent nes games (for ex. from Ninja Gaiden 2) that i would like to put directly into Megaman IV. Is it possible or i have to rewrite or remake them in Famitracker?

Hey, just want to get know that i still working at my hack and for now i've redone Cossack 1,2 & 4 stages into King 1,2 & 4 stages.
Here are screens of last King Stage:

I got also some sketches of Wily stage 2 but i don't want to show them until i'll finish all King Stages. Just third stage left and i hope this week i finish it.
I got pretty long break on writting here because i was working at music compose for my hack. I think i show them on my youtube channel so you might check it if you want.
Still have problems with insert my custom music into my hack but i don't give up with that and i'll hope you'll hear custom music.
And back to these screens. I'll upload clip to youtube from this stage but without boss (just need to think how to change him).
And next demo will come out. It will happen as soon as i finish all King Stages.
If anyone would like to help me or just beta-test some stages that i finished just write to me.

Don't show boss because I'm still working at it. (It's pretty complicated, because of tilesets loading at given screens - it's not show in clip but if you change weapon in room with shield attackers you can see letters as a tileset. If you try it again in next screen - letters turn into normal tileset. Other problem is pallete loading for cossack machine.)

I've done also Wily stage 1 and I'll show it soon. (probably next day). Need to do also King Tower 3 but that would be complicated (because of autoscrooling and boss programing).

The only thing i changed in Pharaoh Shot is just speed of shot. Maybe it is pretty strong weapon, but i just wanted to make 1 wepon stronger that other - only thing i probably change is that i make less ammo for this.

I made it strong because i think that boss weaknes shoud trivialize robot master and their AI's (just like in MM 7).

Promised Wily Stage 1:



I made this because i wanted to include in my hack one stage that would be remake of classic Wily Fortress Stage.

Next day i relase next demo (with 3 King stages completed and 1 wily stage. Only thing i have to do is just polish a little bit).

Just a quick shot of King Tower stage 3:

I found a way to negate auto-scrolling in Cossack 3 stage and use it on my hack but i keep 1 section of this type,
About demo. I'll try to relase next demo next day and i think that it would be the last one, because only 2 stages left me to finish (Wily 2 & 4). After doing that i'll relase full version of hack and then, if i find a way to import music into hack or I find any bugs or glitches i'll do updates of my hack. Trailer comming soon.

PS: I'm not sure if i use good palette for tileset (solid one). I just want to make them looks like ice or snow one. If you have any ideas if I should re-colour them or not write.

What left me to finish with this hack:
- Wily 2 & 4 Stages
- Improve King 4th boss and Wily Machine boss
- Improve some weapons (but not much)
- Rewrite dialogues and some other text
- Improve some enemies.
- Import custom music (if there is anyone who can help me out with this i would be realy thankful. I got done some files in famitracker and maybe i'll upload them to youtube and i got .nsf files of them but i have no idea how to put this into hack).

If everything go fine maybe I'll finish this hack on this moth (or eventually on next one). Maybe I'll do hard version of it (for those who like challenge), but probably I'll start working at next hack of Mega Man, but for now I can't tell you how will it be.

I belive that beta testers would be helpfull because i don't see as many glitches as you could. This bug with non-solid TSA's is because i forgot to made in some places invisible solid pieces of texture and in other to make separate tileset for background and foreground (even if they looks same).

Problem with Ring Man is that because i changed 70C4F value in hex code. It occurs that weird infinite boss bar loading sound but it stop playing as soon as i open menu (just right when bar stops loading) or after a few times of using Drill Bomb. On the other site this value makes Ring Man toss his Ring with diffrent effect (it may go fast slow far stay on place or even not be tossed).

BTW I'm right now finishing Wily Stage 2. All that left me to do is find some glitches and resolve problems with them, redraw Wily boss 3, Finish King boss 4 and that would be all.

I thought about making clip of Wily Stage 4 but that would be pretty weird to show clip of last stage, when rest is unfinished .

But i show you another clip with funny glitch i found in my hack (but i belive it works too on orginal Mega Man 4). Everything how to do it i explain and show in it:



PS: I got a small request. If anyone have got some useful data about Mega Man V hacking (especially about how to input music or about boss AI, routines & their weakness + data about enemies) or know where i could find any, I'd be glad if can help me.

These are last Wily Caslte stages. Levels are finished but bosses still need to be altered. I got some serious problems with Wily Castle Boss 2. It didn't works, but all enemies are placed in right place.

Probably I'm not going to alter music since i don't find way to do that and no one help me with that.

I'll do soon a trailer and I'll show off final version of this hack but for now i need to get all glitches out.

Just a few screens of project I working at. Since I'm near finishing my MM4 hack (Compilation) I'm going to start something new - this time Mega Man 3 hack. I think I would call It Mega Man 3 RE (Remake) but i'll see later. I'm not going to upload any videos or clips since I won't done something serious (for ex. all Robot Master Levels). I'm going to make some maior graphic changes to improve it. I got small request. If anyone have got data about MM3 hacking (mainly about enemy & boss AI + weapons data) let me know.

Since I'm quite busy i decided to do a small update of this hack:
Mega Man Compilation (10.2012)
There are maior changes since last update
- You can play all stages now (but for some you'll need savestate since 1 boss is crushed and i need to make it work again)
- Got some changes with weapons (for ex. rain flush is working without slowdown)
- There are slippery floors instead normal one in Skull Man and Wily 2 Stage
- I started to work with music. For now i swap some effects (in ROM) but later i going to use custom music
- There are also small cosmetic changes like Mega Man climb ladder faster or time of fade in & out is shortened

One thing that I didn't have time to do is to get rid of all glitches (you may find many of them but i going to delete them just right i back to work on this)

Another thing to do (but not realy important) is to remake some stages. I'm planning when i find some free time to remake mainly Pharaoh Man, Drill Man, Ring Man and eventually Toad Man stages (since i think that graphics could look a little bit better)

Also i got idea to swap all mugshots with new one (i got bored with old one so i decided to redraw them) Here are some samples:

On left you got new version of mugshot, on right version that is used right now in ROM (classing with only pallete changed). I would like to ask you for opinion if they are looking better now and what do you think about them.

And at the end i got request. If anyone have any free time I'll need help with recording new clips (since from last time there are some changes and I'm studying right now so i can't spend as much time as i can previously), so if there's anyone who can record new clips just let me know.

PS: Does anyone have idea how to make that glide blocks and shootable blocks would work on every stage?
