Several years ago, I posted my surname to Acmlm's Board, both in my profile and in an introductory thread. I'm looking to have those entries either deleted or altered to remove that surname so that it'll drop out of Google and co.
Are the admins here capable of this? If not, whom would I want to speak to about this? |

The thing is though, only your original copy is being documented by the search engines. It takes digging to find the others. It's not my goal to eradicate it completely as that's impossible, but you are in fact the one remaining search result I need to have gone. Then, the quick google would find nothing. I can appreciate your attitude towards the subject but this is a matter of some urgency for me.
Not to offend you or anything, but administrators are generally supposed to have a desire to help people. That's how they wind up in their position. It seems somewhat lazy to throw the word "policy" out there as an excuse not to help one of your users out with something so trivial. |
