I know a lot of people probably already know about this, but I felt someone should make a post about it for those who don't.

GlovePIE is a freeware program that lets people make scripts for VR Gloves and the like. The interesting thing about it is that the guy that made this program added Wiimote, Classic Controller, and Nunchuck support. All you need is the program, A computer that can handle Bluetooth, and DirectX 8. If your computer can't do Bluetooth, a USB Bluetooth dongle is only like $20.

I have it up and running now and it's pretty awesome. The scripting language is really simple, so if you want to customize what keystroke or mouse move is mapped to each button you shouldn't have much of a problem editing any existing scripts that come with it. The Call of Duty PC one is really good to customize for FPSs. Also you can look here: http://www.wiili.org/index.php/GlovePie_Scripting
For help with scripting.

There's also a few NES controller scripts bundled with the program. They work pretty well, I even added some extra code to map the save state button to A and the load state to Home to make it even easier to use. So if you can, you should really try it out.

I wouldn't necessarily say looking at goatse is funny. The humor for me is making other people look at it. I mean really the only reaction I get out of looking at goatse is "Why did I look at that?!"

Holy crap. Everytime I fight Blaze on Mortal Kombat Armageddon! I could beat the ever-living shit out of everyone else but Blaze.

Some of the characters are Boss characters (Goro, Moloch, Onaga etc...) and are placed at the top of the ladder. All the boss characters are unaffected by grabs (R1 specials) which are essential against blocks. I notice that if I finish the ladder in less than 10 minutes, the bullshit engine is engaged. Then I spend a good 20+ minutes trying to beat the cheating AI.

Not only is Blaze immune to grabs but almost all his moves consist of pop-ups, knock-downs, and this god-awful Rolling thunder move (which are unblockable) that usually kills me since he can STILL inflict pain on me while I'm passed out on the ground. What's even worse is 90% of the time, the block and parry button won't register when Blaze pulverizes me with a series of the same exact punch while my character is getting knocked the fuck out. Then when I use specials or knockdown attacks, Blaze manages to block EVERY ONE.

Then I notice that when the time gets to around 24-30 minutes, Blaze's AI returns to a normal state and only THEN is my character is allowed to hit Blaze without getting blocked. By then I am so pissed I yell "YEAH! FUCK YOU! YOU CHEATING BITCH!" and flip off the television. God, what have I become!?

I don't agree with that for the most part. I've rarely ever had problems with Blaze. The only time I really have is when I'm using a character that I'm not very good with. Now the boss character before Blaze is another story. I always have problems with the boss character before hand, especially Moloch. I had a hard time imagining how they could make Moloch any harder... then I got Armageddon...

New update is just the video that Kamin posted, but higher quality and without the game play. Still looks nice though.

Don't mess with that stuff until last frantik. Just giving you the heads up. If you apply that before you're done with everything, it will make things more difficult than they have to be.

Seriously. I'm not even upset about the loss, like I didn't even feel bad after it was over. That was really one hell of a game.

Well said.
This was another character that I've been waiting to see in Smash Bros. Dedede could quite possibly be one of my all time favorite video game characters.

And he looks so sassy in this picture...

Change black to something else, but I suggest also either changing the purple, or the yellow. It's hard to find a color in the middle when you're using two colors that clash next to each other.

Well I tried a few more things and came up with this.

What do you think?

I may change the shield into something more basic.

Taking the shading out of the hair... good idea... Shows you what I know haha
It looks good.

You dressing up this year? What are you supposed to be? Talk about it here.

I'll start.

I constructed a Jason Voorhees costume this year. It might be the best costume I've ever made.

I still can't believe I found all the clothes I needed at one thrift store.

Except for that candle holder in wood shop.

A block with a nail coming out of the top totally doesn't count.

Anyhoo, This hack looks promising, I wish I could have seen more in the video though. I'm still looking forward to its completion.

Thanks. That's what years of studying film gets you. Really nice Halloween costumes. It was really easy to make though, I just spray painted one of those crappy glow in the dark hockey masks, and then dabbed black and red acrylic all over it. Then I put water on the acrylic and smeared it around. For the clothes, I just bought some at a thrift store and tore them up.

Yeah, but the stage could have always been just one large platform with two or three smaller platforms above it... oh... wait...

Just played it through. It's pretty awesome. I don't think the Wily stages are done yet though, some of them are REALLY glitchy. I kind of don't want them done though, because if the Wily stages that were done were any hint, they would be impossible without either being awesome at jumping or using save states.

Just wait until you hit your 20's dude. Going out in a costume is never boring when you're piss drunk and see a girl in a slutty Link costume. True story.

Hopefully this well make people more willing to use this program. Changing up the background with this thing really makes SMB hacks look a lot better.
