Snake is probably the most out of place character they can get. That is one of the reasons for how great he is in this game. X3

Wonder what stage and assist trophies he will bring along.

EDIT: He might have one of the more detailed models in this game. Probably because he is less cartoony.

Well according to early screen shots and earlier reports, Hideo Kojima will be part of the team designing a Shadow Moses stage.

I just... don't get why Snake always wants to be naked...
Regardless, I just hope the Metal Gears don't always looks so... jumbled. The spotlight looks pretty cool though.

I'll tell you what wasn't expected. Sonic actually looks like he can kick some serious ass, like as much as I've never been a huge Sonic fan, I'll probably use him a lot... or break his neck with Snake a lot, I'm not sure yet.

And no, he isn't hitting Tails. I'm assuming you mean when he spin dashes. He's hitting Mario, Kirby, and Bowser.

I'm going to go ahead and say that this game IS terrible, but I'd totally be willing to make a good game out of it. I wouldn't even make it have a new story or anything, just make it better. First thing to go? Confusing 3D mazes.

Feh. Every time a thread like this is started. My only reply can possibly be that the Steelers are going to win it all again. I mean come on, we were missing like most of our best players last game, and still won.

Of course, how silly of me. He, a semi-realistic boxer, fits perfectly in a game populated by giant turtles, living balloons/marshmallows/(whatever the hell Kirby is), plumbers who can shoot fireballs, futuristic bounty hunters, and anthropomorphic hedgehogs who can all jump a good 40 feet in the air for no apparent reason.

I will concede that Little Mac would work as a character if you accept that Mike Tyson would fit in just as well.

Semi-realistic?! According to Punch-Out for the NES. Little Mac weighs in at a hearty 107lbs, is a towering 4'8", and oh yeah, He 17. He's a Minor. Fighting guys in their 30's. In the Heavyweight Division. I'd say Little Mac is FAR from Semi-realistic.

I'll say this much. The refs DID make some really awful calls during the Superbowl, but seriously? I think it's poetic justice. I mean do you even know how many times in the playoffs over the years that the refs made horrible calls against the Steelers? It was about time horrible calls worked out in our favor.

That looks really awesome. I also like how you won't be playing the same character through the whole thing apparently. It will be interesting to see if some of the characters are siding with the bad guys. I'm kind of thinking that Metaknight will be a boss.
