Most Touched:
-Watching Link sail away from his grandmother for the first time in Wind Waker.

Leaping for Joy:
Killing that rat bastard Sephiroth once and for all...

Unlucky to Die:
Ninja Gaiden 3, last boss, ony gotta' hit him one more time... and then time ran out. I had to start at the beginning of the level, which is LONG

Biggest Rush:
LAN Party, Unreal Tournament, Capture the flag. The game was to be over whenever one team captured the flag 5 times. The game lasted 2 hours, it was excited.

Most Scared:
The very first time Ganon showed up in WW. I nearly wet myself, that dude has always scared the crap out of me.

Pwned:
I was playing Soul Calibur II at the local arcade, and I was kicking ass (or so I thought). I beat the single player game without dying, I was freaking unstopable (again, or so I thought). Then this 12 year old girl comes up and asks me if she can play against me... and then proceeded to hand my ass to me, twice.

Fake... SOOOOO Fake.

Like if you needed proof to begin with.
I'm totally sending this dud an angry e-mail. That shit is just too stupid for me to let it slide.

*Edit* I meant "dude" not "dud" but I'm going to keep the typo, because it's soooo fitting.

I just felt the need to get an explination out of this dude, so I e-mailed him. I'll keep you posted with what he had to say. And hell this whole hoax probably would have worked better if he would have at least hacked in the tiles for the title screen in his "photos" instead of the ZeldaDX title screen.

Oh well, I don't care if this is totally a hoax, because MY Zelda III prototype is prettier!

So HA! Sorry I didn't show my NES in the picture, because that always proves that it's real.

Still being insanely bored, I decided to re-create the ending of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey with sprites

He also come up with the idea of an edible tampon.

Like there's any other kind...
Okay grossness aside, there was this one history teacher in my high school that had been working there for so long that there was no way in hell that they could ever fire him. So around the times of certain holidays, he would show up in costume. For Thanksgiving he would dress up as a pilgrim, and for christmas he would dress up like Santa (Which was funny because a member of our football team would dress up like Santa so people could "take a picture with Santa" during lunch, so it was funny to see the two Santas give eachother the evil eye in the hallway).

We also had a principal one year that used to be Stonewall Action Jackson in the WWF, no shit, it was like Billy Madison, but in real life, and they gu wasn't fat... just scary.

There was also a small political battle going on my senior year. The war in Iraq just started, and this one chick started a protest group. The funny thing about that is that she was like this prissy rich girl, so it was obviously just her looking for something to bitch about (because lets face it, it's the same crap that moms in suburbia do, and I'm talking about the ones that don't have a son overseas... or even know someone who does.) So anyways, they started hanging up Anti-war signs around my school, so the principal (an acting Marine) tore them down, and hung up "Support Our Troops" signs where the Anti-War ones used to be. Well, the girl who started the whole shebang got caught tearing down one of the "Support Our Troops" signs, and got called into the Principal's office. Now if she wasn't on Student Council she would have had in-school suspension right on the spot, but in her case the principal cut her a deal under the radar. If she attended a prayer vigil for the troops that was taking place outside of the school (it was at like 6 am before school or something) then she wouldn't be punished. It was freaking great.

Um, guys, I think this bullshit "ROM" is a red herring. First, from the bottom of the Z3 article:

UPDATE 22: For those of you who never knew, the cart was sold in June 2006. However, I did make a rom prior to selling the cart and the buyer knew this. Keep in mind that he bought the cart, not the rights to the game. Instead of keeping the rom to myself forever, I decided to make the March 2007 Project Zero contest's prize THE ROM ITSELF! Visit Project Zero to try to win. For those of you who ARE playing, download what you need, and what everyone else is looking for, RIGHT HERE. Have fun both with the contest and the rom.

Yeah, but shouldn't that statement read "For those of you who ARE playing, download what you need, and what everyone else is looking for, RIGHT HERE." as one complete statement, or is this guy just kind of shitty with the english language? Not to mention this (from the top of the page):

Updates To This Page Are At The Bottom, Newest Coming Last including THE ROM

A trick that I used to pull in high school if I wanted to play roms, is that I would change the roms and emulators to .doc or .txt files or something, so even if they did find them they wouldn't really feel like putting in the effort to find out what they were. Trust me, they say that they can scan your account's actions and find out what you did "like that" but it's really kind of a pain in the ass. At least it was back in 2000-2003.

Seen it before when surfing youtube randomly out of youtube. I admit it's kinda funny though. XD There's also a fear of eggs I heard, and eh... even if some things scares me alot, I don't really run around paniced. >>

I'm afraid of scorpions (which is funny because there are no scorpions over here naturally) and if I saw one I would run away in a panic. You guts should catch the phobia episodes of Maury sometime, they're great.

I mean I'd never buy Tetris off of someone, but that because I got a million copies of the game in various parts of my house, but if I didn't own it then hell yeah I'd buy it for $3. That game ate up about a third of my childhood.

So we should all know about the hooplah about Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Wizard of Oz, but are there any other ones out there?

Well this guy seems to think that Star Wars is an interesting candidate. http://starwarssynch.blogspot.com/

And indeed he seems to have found some really striking ones. Check out Alderaan Idiot. I was kind of intrigued by this myself, so I decided to try one out. I took Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and put it up with the equally triumphant album Andrew WK's "The Wolf". Well I have to say, there aren't nearly as many lyrical cues in it, but the musical ones are downright creepy. Here's a couple of really cool synchs I found:

The first track is almost the same length as the small opening credits scene and for the most part the cuts are all on beat.

When Bill and Ted are videotaping themselves, they get real close to the video camera and pump their fists, screaming "WYLD STALLYNS!" at the exact same time that Andrew WK screams "LONG LIVE THE PARTY!".

About half or a little more of the times that they play air guitar, there is a guitar solo playing, and it usually happens on beat with a note change.

This one, while not really relevant, is freaking hilarious to me. When Andrew WK first says "I wanna MAKE SEX" in the song Make Sex, Billy the Kid first appears on screen.

The whole sword fight between Bill and Ted in England is great. I'm pretty sure it starts at the same time as a guitar solo, and almost everything they do happens on beat with the song.

The fact that Beethoven almost always shows up alone on screen during a paino break is also weird.

The Historical figures causing trouble at the mall (starting with Joan of Arc) begins at the same time as a new song starts, which isn't all the impressive, but it works really well.

When Andrew WK says "We have to face our fears!" in totally stupid, Ted is confronted by his dad in the police department.

There's a bunch of other things scattered throughout, but the best one to point out is the history report. The curtains open during the feedback/fade out of the song Totally Stupid, and Billy the Kid starts talking as soon as Really in Love starts, and just about everything in that whole scene moves at the same tempo as the music.

So if you're wondering how to do this, it's actually a lot easier than most synchronization projects. Start Bill and Ted, put it on mute, keep the CD on pause at the beginning of the first track (that way you don't have to wait for the CD to be read), and then unpause the CD as soon as the first shot of the movie comes up (after the MGM and Nelson logos).

For the second playthrough: The CD should end in the scene where Bill and Ted travel to the future. Hit play on the CD as soon as the next scene starts.

Good Eye, that doesn't show up in Zelda DX, so it is either from the original game or it has been added. Now the real pain in the ass is going to be figuring out how to piece it together. I plan on getting this right, an sending it to him with different e-mails, just to fuck with him. I'll let everyone else know what I find out too, so he can just get an insane influx of people that figured it out lol.

Yeah, I figured that it was probably from the original. Well, I scowered the damn thing byte by byte in a HEX editor and found squat, so I either missed something, it's hidden in the unicode jumble when you open it up with a text editor, or this dude is fulla' shit.

Wanna know the real trick? Someone should just download all of the project zero section of his website (like all of the pages in the "projectzero/" directory). I might do it in a little bit.

Listen, rom hacks are only good if they have 4 things:
1) A Penis
2) A Hypodermic Needle
3) A Swastika
4) The F-Bomb

Seriously though, Rom hacking started for me at a young age. It wasn't too much longer after the Game Genie for the Game Boy came out. I was playing Mortal Kombat, and I just put in random letters. I wish I could still remember the code, because what ended up happening is that the chance of the CPU doing fatalities went up. It was good for me at the time because I was young and I sucked at MK, so I still got to see people die. A little while later I found a website about how to use game genie codes to change sprite palletes in SMB. MANY years later I found out about this Rom Hacking thing. I got a copy of SMBUtil and Tile Layer Pro, and the rest is history.

Then, I somehow found a NES emulator (can't remember what it was called... It was DOS and had a bloody chopped off hand as mouse cursor). It allowed one to edit the game's tiles while you were playing, which was really fun. Too bad that there wasn't any way to save these changes.

That's good ol' Nesticle right there.
