Please tell me that means I'm not the only one that used to look for the Artie constellation as a kid...

Allright, I'll say something. How does problems at another board even remotely concern us at this one? Talk to the staff at the other board.

I dunno, it makes sense. Dedede never had some like ultimate attack during his boss fights, and he's supposed to be lazy, so having a bunch of enemies running beating people up makes sense to me. It would be cool if Kirby can copy Waddle Doo.

Dear god... sometimes I'm happy that pop-culture has moved on since the early 90's...

Personally I think if he said "meat" or "tool" one more time I'd think it was the best sexual innuendo of all time...

Nah, that's King of the Road. Road Warrior is the one where Big Pete is taking Driver's Ed. Sick day is probably one of my favorite episodes though, I totally wish Excalibur was real.

Yeah I've heard something about that before, they had to find another town or something. They do a pretty awesome of covering it up though, you can really hardly tell the difference. That's awesome that your friend got to meet Dad, he was hilarious on that show.

That's actually the song that made me want to do this whole project. It's my favorite song from the show. It was the first song I got, the only thing that sucks is that the only version I could find was one where it is like extremely loud, but it's still pretty awesome, it just gives me a heart attack any time my iPod is on shuffle.

So optomon and I were talking tonight, and we realize that no one ever talks about this. I mean I'm sure there's been threads like this in the past, but it's really rare. So here goes. What, in your opinion, is the best rom hack ever? It can be for any game, or system. So share some of that opinionated goodness.

ASSFAG (Actually I can't remember if that's from MegaCrap or another one)
Save that for when I'll probably end up making a "Worst Rom Hack Evar" Thread. That's where we will get to chronicle the days of "1 GAYOR GAYO"

As far as my actual opinion. I'm going with SMB3: Some Usual Day it's one of the few hacks I've played a bunch of times. If Bio World was completed I would probably pick that one.

Apparently reVamp has a fun little feature where it ruins Castlevania 3 roms when you try to use it... I still really want to make a CV3 hack though

**EDIT**
They don't look horrible in game either.

American Version. I was talking with setz about it on IRC and apparently if I figure out how to take full advantage of it, I can make it look really pretty.

You do realize that I'm totally aware of that right? I hope you also realize that I picked the US version of the game just in case I actually did suck you in, so the music wouldn't be more difficult than it had to be (at least I think).

**Edit**

There's still some cleaning up to do... but he's getting there.

I'm also sprucing up the HUD.

So I just stumbled upon this a couple of days ago. It's a front end for many emulators that is set up to be a full 3D virtual arcade. You can walk around, go up to the cabinet or console for the game you want to play, and then play it in MAME or another emu. Here's some screens of the arcade I set up for myself:

Dragon's Lair cabinet playing the actual attract mode video and a joke Polybius machine

Working NES

I got it from here.

No, you have to supply your own image for the picture on the screen. So I made one for Polybius with a mock-up of the title screen and made an out of order sign
