Glad I could help frantic. I like how they look now.

Yeah, I went with both of them. If those existed, and I had the money, I'd totally want to be a cyborg. Think about all the senoritas I could get.

I don't know if this is the reason or not, but I'm just going to guess and say that it has something to do with the fact that the game exploits some features in the emulator that aren't present on an actual NES. I don't really know the details about it, I just remember him mentioning that at some point. |

Posted by ScionPosted by DoritokillerPosted by Scion I hope so. I think it would be kind of boring if they were both in it. I mean sure, their moves sets are kind of different, but I don't think different enough to make the both of them being there any fun. That's just my opinion though. On a side note, King Dedede's battle music from Kirby's Dreamland better be in this. I've been listening and it's been getting me extremely pumped for this game to come out. |

If it wasn't for those stone structures in Staccato Swamp I'd think it was Dagobah. It looks really nice though. I'm also loving your screens frantik, that's probably the best looking SMB hack I've ever seen. |

Posted by Grey Megatron Pssh. My last hack was like 10 times more arghghghg than Mario Adventure, and I dropped the money to get it put on it's own cart. If MA was compatible with an actual NES it wouldn't be a bad addition to the collection. It's different enough that it can be considered it's own game and not just like more SMB3. |

So I was talking on IRC to some people about this thing called Rockbox that I got for my iPod. It's got some cool features, but one of the cooler ones is the ability to make custom themes. Tonight I made one based off of Castlevania. Check it out:
Menu Screens Now Playing screen. (Don't mind the copied menu text in the middle. This is a mock-up of what it actually looks like, normally the song info goes there) The features on the Now Playing screen are: The "Song" life bar is the progress bar for the song that's playing The "Battery" life bar is just that. It displays battery life. The icon in the weapon window changes to display play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind The three tiles are for Repeat, Shuffle, and Hold. |

When I saw "Color Changes" as the update I thought it was going to be kind of boring. Until I saw these ones:

Yeah, I didn't even think about letting people have this... I'm so damn selfish sometimes. If anyone has an iPod video and wants this for it, say so and I'll zip it up and put it in this thread. I might make another theme tomorrow. They're kind of fun to make when you get the hang of it. |

Posted by optomon Optomon. Quit tempting me. The other night I was thinking about putting together a Castlevania 2 hacking dream team of sorts. I don't want to do that to all of us. |

But that would take soooooo long. Seriously. This took me days to do last time I tried it:

Look up Rockbox's site, they have support for older MP3 players (I don't know what you have) and they still have some pretty cool looking themes for them. You can go on the tirade if you want too, I mean that's why I got Rockbox in the first place. I was sick of my iPod, and I found out that this would make it a lot better. |

"THE BOAT IS A-BOUT TO SINK!"
"HANG ON!" Some excellent quotes in this... "Don't worry, I am Jesus" This might be the funniest thing ever... the voice actors... I think capcom might have had the same guys on their payroll at some point. |

Ah, so that's probably why my hack didn't work on PcketNES either. I was always kind of wondering about that. |

As far as music, we went with what was free. But yeah, essentially all the story is is that he picks up some TV on the street and it does trippy stuff to his brain.
The story behind it is much more interesting though. This was a student film, the writer submitted a script for something much more interesting, but the teachers turned it down. So he decided that if they didn't want something decent, he was going to write a short about a totally static character wandering through absolutely nothing, so the title sort of has dual meaning. |

I learned how to make those crazy Red/Blue 3D images tonight. If I keep making them, then I'll probably try to make some that are at least photographically nice looking, but check out these ones until then.

So I just got all three seasons of this (except for the episode Road Warrior. Any help would be appreciated). This was my favorite show growing up, and to me is still one of the best shows of all time. Anyone else a huge fan?
As a side note, it's nice to watch the movie Snow Day and think of what it would have been like if it was a Pete and Pete movie as originally planned. At least Big Pete and Ellen would have finally gotten together, so there would have been some closure with that. |

Seems I've been on two kicks lately. A Pete and Pete kick, and a posting in Modern Art kick. Anyways, I really loved all the music from this series so I decided that I was going to get all of the songs featured on the show so I could have a complete soundtrack. (The closest thing to a soundtrack released was a CD of the 12 songs Polaris recorded for the show.) So I figured I should make some album art too. So here it is.
I made a second one, but it's not as good. I mostly just made it as a joke. It's a parody of the Polaris CD cover. Instead of the constellations on the normal CD art, I replaced them with ones from the episode "Farewell My Little Viking" (Pegasus, and Artie the Strongest Man in the World) Now all I need to do is find the last three tracks I need to complete the complete soundtrack... |
